“Charnwood Brewery's second micropub after the Sorrel Fox in Mountsorrel. It big, airy and has a similar range to the Fox: four cask ales complemented by two keg. Its all Charnwood, and while I like their dependable and traditional beers, you're not likely to find joose-laden IPAs or pastry stouts here. Good for getting ticks (I got a new one despite my Charnwood-heavy beer diet) and a pleasant atmosphere. And very needed in the relative beer desert of Shepshed.“
