The pub has two main rooms plus the bar area - a serving bar with four cask ales. It's truly a family affair, with grandad tending the bar and serving food, his daughter taking care of the cask ales, and the grandson cooking. And the food was delicious, creative and varied. Well worth a visit.“ |

Great pub grub, cosy furnishings, including a lovely stuffed pike (terrifying) from 1927. 3 guest ales, including Springhead on my visit. Definitely worth visiting in combination with Grants and The Saddle.“ |
