“11/11/2017. A great place to visit when in the area, really cosy drinking area, informative tour, beer is £3.10 a pint (3 thirds available) 5 taps. Not sure where the 50 bottles mentioned here came from though it isn't right they only bottle a core 6 beers plus the vintage ale. So if calling in, it's for the experience not volume of ticks! Previous visit 22/6/2016 excellent visitor centre, cosy bar area, restaurant, shop, and regular brewery tours which are relaxed and very informative. The bar has 5 beers on tap - 4 regular and 1 monthly special - plus a few more of their beers bottled. Food is of a high standard. Bottle collection is immense! Update“

“This brewery has a nice feel to it. Family games in the beer garden. Brewery tour, nice bar housed in the old windmill, a small shop and a restaurant. The beer is mostly Batemans but they also had a box of cider on the bar. Worth a day trip to visit. They have a collection of old (and some newer) beer bottles as well.“

“Visited here in August 2007 just to take on a few beers in the Windmill - didn’t do the tour. Great setting and fairly busy around the bar. Had a few different Batemans offerings whilst I was there and took a few bottles for the train home. The kind of place to take your non beer other half to !“

“My parents live only 12 miles away from here, so I’ve been many times over the last few years since they moved there. Lovely set up: the bar area is in the base of the famous ’windmill’ and the dining/event room is connected down a small slope. Always at least 5 cask Batemans beers available and the food is fine too. There is an outside drinking area as well: back inside there is a shop for Batemans ’bits’ like t-shirts, glasses and bottles, etc, etc. Even been to a beer festival there a few years back: I love going and often have my Sunday lunch there.“

“An excellent day out with an interesting tour around the Brewery and a relaxing afternoon sampling all the beers. They also profess to own the worlds biggest bottled beer collection, it was pretty impressive.“
