“hilst driving down to Key West sort FKBC out as I’m a craft beer fan. When you walk in, you'll find a welcoming environment with a cool laid back vibe and friendly staff. The place seemed popular with both locals and us tourists. Loads of draft crafts to choose from, (I had the ‘Coffee Brown Ale’) Only wish I wasn't driving and could have stayed longer than ½ an hour. Give FKBC a visit as you’re passing through Islamorada.“

“Whilst driving down to Key West sort IBC out as I’m a craft beer fan. When you walk in, you'll find a welcoming environment with a cool laid back atmosphere and very friendly staff. Loads of house brewed draft crafts to choose from, so I could try a few I had a flight consisting of:- No Wake Zone-Coconut Key Lime Blonde; Snake Creek Oatmeal Stout; Card Sound Brown-Coffee Caramel Brown Ale & Floridays-Tropical Pale. Seeing that I was into beer tasting the barman kindly gave me a Wyland Traditional Lager w/Shipwrecked Rum Ale top on the house, which he lit up with his phone torch! Only wish I could have stayed longer than ½ an hour. Give IBC a visit as you’re passing through Islamorada.“

“Small, but pretty place on the inside. Stopped in on the drive do to Key West. The bartender was friendly and the vibe was very laid back and Bob Marleyish. No food here so that was a bit of a drag, we stopped in for a round or two basically as an appetizer and found a really nice place down the road for fresh seafood and eats with an amazing view. The beer is very average and simple. Nothing crazy to write home about. The prices were a tad high for what they are producing. I wouldn't go out of my way to stop here, but if I lived locally I suppose it wouldn't be a bad hang out.“

“Stopped in on way from FLL airport to Key West. Hungry and wanted good with a beer. They only had some frozen empanadas to throw in a toaster oven. Wife said no way. So l just grabbed a bomber to go. It was $20. it was a average sour. Seemed like a fun place though.“

“We came here on 23.12.2018. Agree with PRBeer, beers are definitely better at Islamorda beer company, but this is even a better location. The brewhouse is a few blocks down the road. They moved the tap room just recently up to the main road. Very colorful decoration inside and comfortable beer garden outside. When we came they had live music and we met very friendly people here. We liked the barrel aged stout the most. Other beers we tasted were just ok. Ben would not like their Saison. Great merchandising.“

“We came here on 23.12.2018. This is the first of 3 breweries next to each other when you are heading south to Key West. Beers are mainly brewed in a larger brewhouse in Fort Pierce. This location has only a nano brewhouse, which I believe is more for decoration purpose. Beers were quite good. Nicely decorated inside and a beer garden on sand outside. When we came they had a big Christmas party with Santa Clause, music and even the local radio station was present. Very friendly service.“

“Beachy tourist vibe with bright tropical colors and an open floor plan. Small space though, especially considering it shares with the gift shop and distillery. Service was great, super friendly and super knowledgeable about the beer. Snacks in a cooler to munch on if you get the urge, but no dinner like options, though the fish dip is great. Beer is all decent, nothing stuck out as off or horrible, and a varied selection allows something for everyone. It's the best options between Miami and Key West.“

“It's small and shares space with a bed and breakfast upstairs, but colorful and fun. Great vibe with all the beer cap art and fun beer related crafts, an sweet back patio area with live music and lots of room for hanging out. Service was friendly and attentive, didn't know a whole lot about beer in general but knew their beers well enough. Selection was varied and styles ran the board, 20 different beer, 18 brewed in house, but they were mediocre at best, some hard to get down while trying to be nice to the bartenders. It's fun and the vibe is nice, but I wouldn't go back solely based on the beer quality.“

“Just a small tasting bar and gift shop on the side of the Keys highway in Islamorada. Any number of their own brews are chalked up on the menu and they will do flights of 4 or 6. Friendly staff with a friendly dog. Beers were reasonably decent and varied. A good stop on the road.“

“One of two breweries in Islamorada (along with Florida Keys Brewing)...and the only breweries in the Keys not in KW. Nice place with solid beers...and better beers than Florida Keys (although check out my review of them...as they have a better place and vibe for hanging out). Staff here was very friendly to me on my recent visit. Of 11 beers on draft I liked the Channel Marker session IPA, No Wake Zone coconut key lime blonde, and A Purple Island IPA (Islamorada means "purple island"). Also notable were the Never Seen Snow chocolate peppermint stout and the Card Sound Brown coffee caramel brown. It’s quite nice to kill a good part of any trip up or down the keys with a visit to Islamorada’s two breweries...followed by a visit to MEAT Eatery. These are not destination breweries...but if your destination is Islamorada or south to KW...it would be hard for a craftbeer lover to pass up one or both (I hit one going south and the other coming back north).“

“Must stop while driving thru the keys (actually two breweries in Islamorada along with the brewery of the same name as the location).. I would suggest that although Islamorada might have slightly better beer...Florida Keys has them beat on ambiance, décor, cool people, and great vibe (and live music when I visited on a recent Sunday afternoon). As if the Keys aren’t cool enough...you can hang out in Islamorada and have no good reason to rush down to KW (a win in and of itself!). Of the 10 beers on tap when I visited...I liked the Sunsational IPA, the Smuggler’s Moon, the Iguana Bait, and the Kritter IPA best...with the Cold Front winter spiced ale getting an honorable mention. Hit both breweries ad well as MEAT Eatery up the road for your carnivore fix.“

“Located on US 1 on Islamorada Key. Bright yellow building that’s easy to spot. Place is quite laid back with about 8-9 beers on tap. All the beers seem quite solid. Flights are available, not to mention growlers to go. Neat place to check out when you are in the Florida Keys.“

“Small but intimate. Colorful. Garage door opens to the sitting porch. Ten taps on. All Florida Keys brews. Live music. Growlers available. Beer isn’t good.“

“Cute little place right on 1. Very Keys looking. Bright yellow and sea blue colors. Laid back, accommodating service. Nine taps. Bottles and growlers (32 and 64 oz) for the road. Flights in any number are available.“

“Retired Midwesterner moves to the Keys and starts a brewery. Only four draft options, ranking from blonde ale to IPA, in an obviously laid back tropical themed tasting room. Pretty hard not to enjoy yourself here. Obviously not a "beer destination" but if you’re in the Keys you probably didn’t come for the beer. Oh, and they actually have some pretty awesome swag, coozies and long sleeved Ts and whatnot. Very good branding.“

“Been going here for years. About as good as it gets in the Keys for the selection. It should be mentioned here that you will pay TOP dollar in this well known, easy to find, tourist trap where familles fork over $10+ for suntan lotion for their kid who is already too burnt for it to do any good. Be careful down here: Beer+Sun+Ocean=potentionally horrible vacation “

“Ok, had to add this place for any of you that might go to the keys. Small Independant Food Store. Selection is nothing out of this world, but I gave it a rather high rating because for the keys, its just about the best around. Small Refridgerated beer area with all the normals, plus most Sierra Nevada, few local micros, few north east micros and the best find was Sam Smith’s beers, most all of them could be found. A good stout is a rare find in these parts so I had to add this place.“
