30 /100 Miller's Ale House (Restaurant) 2461 E IRLO BRONSON MEMORIAL HWY I was expecting more, very disappointing. About 50 taps and 20 bottles/cans. Only 1 local beer (Cigar City Jai Alai) on the menu. Only 1 beer that I haven't had, but they were out. Waiter said menu has all of the beers they sell.
So, I went to the bar and there are about 10 beer that aren't on the menu. Thought I was able to get one, but they were out of that one too... So I give up, sticking with water. Service didn't have a clue about the beer, if I didn't go to the bar myself I wouldn't have known they have other local stuff.
TexMex food, we only had the wings, they tasted frozen and weren't very good. I only ate 1/2 of one.
I would NOT recommend this place, for beer or food. |
72 /100 3 Sisters Speakeasy (Restaurant) 226 BROADWAY Bar near the Sunrail staion 14 taps on plus bottles and cans in the fridges also does food. |
76 /100 BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse - Kissimmee (Restaurant) 2421 W. OSCEOLA PARKWAY Visited here in late October ’15 while in the area for business, Nice decor, very roomy with high ceilings and a few TVs placed around the rooms and a huge 4 in 1 screen behind the bar. Have about 8 of their rotating beers on tap with 3 seasonal and a few regionals such as Cigar City and Terrapin. Huge menu with pizzas, burgers, salads, steaks, seafood - you name it. Service was superb, professional and friendly. I like a place where the waiters and waitresses wear somewhat of a uniform - yeah, I’m old fashioned, Like all other BJ’s I have been to - pretty solid - you know what you are going to get. |
50 /100 Wrecker’s Sports Bar (Bar) 6000 W OSCEOLA PKWY Interesting. They had nowhere near the taplist that previous reviewers mentioned when I was there mostly standard crap. Best I could find was Rebel IPA. They had a self-named red that was just Killians as well. And its in a Gaylord. God, why would you go here on purpose? Pulled pork nachos were good though! |
64 /100 Wrecker’s Sports Bar (Bar) 6000 W OSCEOLA PKWY Visited later in a Tuesday evening. Located in the Gaylord Palms hotel and convention center. Very much a sports bar, had possibly the largest projection screen TV I have ever seen. Beer selection is above average for a hotel bar, they had quite a few Florida beers on offer. This is worth hitting if you are staying at the hotel, probably not otherwise. 64 = ★★ (Just ok) I only use the total score, not the component parts. |
64 /100 ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - Kissimmee (Beer Store) 3300 N JOHN YOUNG PKWY Standard ABC store. Clean and organized. Decent selection of craft beer. Was hoping for more local stuff though. Didn’t ask for of receive any help, so can’t judge service. |
52 /100 Wrecker’s Sports Bar (Bar) 6000 W OSCEOLA PKWY Good food, knowledgeable staff decent selection of beer including a Lambic. |
54 /100 ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - Kissimmee (Beer Store) 3300 N JOHN YOUNG PKWY Big wine and liquor shop with a very god selection of bottle brews. Snagged a couple of cool Cigar City seasonals. Great selection of loose bottles available. After a week of blah Dosney brews, this place was heaven!
