“Nice Irish pub located in Disney Springs. Live music and a fun place to eat. Feels like I was back in Ireland (2 months ago). Even down to the gift shop, that looked like the ones we visited in Ireland. They have a good tap and bottle list. Good food, friendly service.“

“Ambiance was really awesome, with Irish-style music and dancing that I really enjoyed. In Disney, there’s not a lot of beer selection, but this place seems to offer the most interesting one. Prices are pretty high but, hey, its Disney ! Highly recommended for any beer lovers coming here, in search of good beers and good times.“

“I felt this was an enjoyable place. Good atmosphere, loved the entertainment (live irish music and dancing). I was pretty pleased (and surprised) by the local craft beer selection, including an Irish stout from Coppertail that I really loved. The food was just a little above average - had the fish and chips and while it was cooked well, it was a touch bland. Also, it’s Disney Springs so everything costs twice as much as it should, but that’s to be expected. It’s one of my favorite spots in DS though.“

“Small bar on the lobby level (3rd floor) of the Buena Vista Palace hotel, walking distance across the street from Disney Springs. Sleek appearance. Friendly service for the most part. For a hotel bar, the selection is pretty decent for local craft beer options. Half of the taps appeared to be dedicated to local craft options and the others various macros and larger micros. Pints for $8, pick your own flight of 4 local craft beers for $10. Don’t usually see flight options at hotel bars so that was a nice surprise. Two Funky Buddha beers on tap, Cigar City, Crooked Can, etc. Small bottle selection including a Funky Buddha I hadn’t had. They also seem to have an exclusive house beer brewed by Central 28 called Citrus 28. Prices are about average, food is quite pricey. Didn’t eat here. The local craft beer options probably won’t wow the Florida locals but not a bad place to stay in Orlando for out-of-town tickers.“

“Small brewpub by Buena Vista Lake. Nice patio view with Epcot in the background. Inside looks like a generic diner, bar layout is kind of strange with seats at the long table facing the entrance. Stick to the patio if you can, much nicer view. Service was fairly friendly and attentive. Okay selection of beers with 7 of their own, though no porters/stouts or anything adventurous on my visit. Beers were average to above average. Chicken nachos were pretty tasty. Like others have said, worth a look if you’re at the nearby hotels or already in the area.“

“Faux Irish bar to be expected from Disney of course. Selection is predictable but not bad. Food is decent. Overpriced of course. Probably as good as you are gonna do if you are in area.“

“Decent place, family restaurant seating. Feels and decorated like a breakfast place (Denny’s, IHOP). A few windows of the tanks and brewery. They have a new brewer, the beers were decent. Clean and crisp but nothing that stood out. The food was good, service was ok.“

“Extra points for the smell of wort as they were brewing. Didn’t ask much of the help. The beers were decent and the food looked good. Disney priciness. Lots of beer styles but nothing exotic. No darks. One brown.“

“Went there for lunch. It is truly a pain in the butt to get to. Its inside the Disney properties in Epcot village or something like that. At least parking is free, but you need to show an ID. Pretty normal brewpub, with a large outdoor patio out front, lots of inside seating, and a large bar area. Looks nothing like the picture here, FWIW. I sat at the bar and was the only one. They had seven taps when I was there, and you could get a sampler with all of them; I forgot to check the price, but nothing outrageous. Bartender was nice and friendly, and had decent knowledge of the beers he was pouring. Food was fairly standard, nothing special. Beers ranged from Meh to actually pretty solid. I don’t know if I would seek this place out, but if you are trapped in Disneyville anyway, why not?“

“Have been there for lunch and for drinks. Wife had hard time finding something she wanted, they let her eat off Kid’s menu (pro tip). I had fish and chips, okay. Selection is standard Irish + a few others. Place is super clean and attractive. Not bad but we prefer others in the area for food and beer.“

“Stopped in on a visit recently for dinner. Fun atmosphere and decent food with surprisingly reasonable prices for being in Disney. A few decent selections like Two Hearted and Hopsecutioner. Seems like the best spot to stop for craft if in downtown Disney.“

“As about as good as you can get for a beer place in Disney, but not bad overall. About 6 of their own beers on tap, all fairly decent - not great but not bad. Food was pretty decent - steaks, ribs, some seafood, burgers. Service was very good by the two bartenders there.“

“went here twice four years ago when the espn heisman show was next door. the place is warm and california like when you walk in and is like a johnny rockets in the back. asked the guy for a sample after i had one and he gave up the smallest sample i ever saw. asked cause i wasn’t impressed with the first brew, the second was good and i bought one. he seemed perterbed that i asked and then broke and offered up a hospitable smile and some history about the beers. seemed like a harried supervisor type. food was good and my wife liked the martini. very clean diner type joint with service people moving harriedly about. the place was half full.“

“Fun Irish Bar in Downtown Disney. The server was attentive and friendly. The lineup is mediocre, at best. Standard Irish beers (Guinness, Harp, Smithwicks, etc.) with a few interesting bottles. The food is excellent. The prices are high, but not exorbitant for Disney. Overall, this is a good bar, and a fun place.“

“Nice atmosphere, if the tables weren’t so cramped. Server was great, very accommodating. Beer selection was minimal and Canadian (since it’s in Epcot) - all Unibroue and one Moosehead. Food was amazing. Its a steak house, and wasn’t the best steak I’ve had but close. Well marbled and full of flavor. Beer cheese soup was great.“

“Since this restaurant is located in the Canada pavilion at Epcot the selection is small and only Canadian beers. My favorite was the La Fin Du Monde. They also had available, flights. Least favorite beer was the Moose Head. The food was superb! We started with the Beer Cheese soup and pretzel bread sticks and then the Poutine. I had the Rib-Eye which was cooked well done and perfect! Then finished with the Maple Creme Brulee! All delicious but very pricey. Expect to pay $35 - $55 per person. The downsides of this restaurant are the price, the seating is a little cramped and you have to book usually over 3 weeks in advanced, it’s a hard restaurant to get into.“

“First of all, the location- it is a convenient stop if you’re already at Disney’s Boardwalk or the Swan and Dolphin, or Hollywood Studios, otherwise it’s a real pain. The look from without makes it seem huge, but the inside is relatively small. Very clean and fitting with Disney, the food is pretty typical Gordon Biersch restaurant with fewer options. For the vegetarian, not much going except a pretty tasty beer cheese soup and some apps or a salad. The beers were par for a Gordon place and there is one rotating brewer’s select tap, and that one is usually the best of the bunch. Service is beer-competent and the brewer was accessible when I was there. The prices were a bit much, but it is Disney, so it is expected. Overall, I would stop in for a pint when I am in the area. If I was staying anywhere at Disney it is probably the only place to get a better-than-below-average beer as Disney’s beer selection is worse than most grocery stores.“

“Right on the Boardwalk for Disney World how can this be bad. We had a great time loved the food and beer was pretty decent. Not the best but when in need of a cold beer this is much better than the crap in the Epcot area.“

“Definitely a cool place to visit. Fun Irish band and dancers, and pretty good food on the menu. It’s pricey, but hello, it’s Disney World. Everything is pricey. Decent selection of beer; some locals on tap and some good craft brews in bottles add some excitement to the list of usual standards. Relatively, considering the fact that it is in Disney World, the selection is awesome. Anyhow, its beer selection isn’t bad, and it would be a good time even if you did have to revert back to the old Guinness.“

“Nice setting, out on the boardwalk, and being December rather than June, the weather was great. Server was knowledgeable about the beers, and there were six on tap; around average quality to a little better, depending on the beer. The food we had wasn’t great, but the things other people ordered sure looked better. Nice time.“

“The place is definitely cool, Irish pub decor takes up the huge bar. A bit crowded though, too many booths/tables. Only one bartender was working which was a bit lame, and they were out of the beer I wanted. Their selection is pretty small, but they did have some neat bombers. A sub par tap selection, and 10 12oz bottles or so rounds up the selection. I did not get to order food, or see anyone eating. Prices are reasonable for the area.“

“Nice setting on The Boardwalk looking out onto the dock. Great service as our server was attentive and pretty knowledgeable about the beer. Decent selection of styles (brown ale, pilsener, pale ale, oktoberfest, light lager and a red ale) though none of them were particularly good. Food was maybe a tiny bit better than average pubfare. Overpriced, however, that is to be expected if you’re at Disney. Not a bad place though if you don’t feel like leaving Disney’s premises and want to relax with a few beers.“

“Our hotel was a few blocks from this place when we went to Disney. This place is located in the downtown disney area. We were able to get out late after the parks had closed to find some beers. And luckly I remember doing some reasearch on Ratebeer about beer places in Disney. So we go in and there is a live Irish trio playing some folk music, along with one of those Irish tap dancer girl on stage. The place is nice looking and roomy. The service was good. Selection was a lot better than I expected, with about 25 taps and 40 or so bottles. Some options were Terripan, Bells, Orlando Brewing, Cigar City (jai ali, Maduro), Abita, Stone and many imports. They have options for samplers too. Overall a nice find in Disney,Orlando area, if you cant get away and go to Redlight.“

“Yeah, it Disney, so it’s gonna be a little bit overpriced, and it’s gonna be a little bit artificial. What do you expect? But after 4 days of putting up with Obese people in crocs ( apparently people still wear those. I had no idea), eight year old in strollers (seriously. Make ’em walk) and Florida heat, this was a godsend. There isn’t much craft beer in Disney, even in Epcot, so I enjoyed this - probably more than I should have...“

“Ate here in October 2010. The food provided huge portions and was good overall. I couldn’t finish the meatloaf. The service was very good,m and the beer selection had 6 beers, ranging from OK to very good. In my opinion, the ratings are on the low side, and I would go back here.“

“Located in the wonderful make belief realm of American dream, Disney World, we have well ... a corporate wanna-be brewpub with all the corporate elements, except tasty beers and food. What to say about this place? I would say the highlight was the service, nice staff that was very willing to answer our beer related questions. Just too bad that the beers do not allow for much conversation. The food was .. well ... for the price I paid, $13.50 for a Mahi-mahi burger, I was expecting more than a cheap Gordon Fisherman slapped with a bunch of extra Cajun spices, all served with cheap Frito chips served on a potato bun. The beers were forgettable at best, all seemed overly hoppy, and the brewers reserve should remain just that, a reserve. The brown had nothing of a brown, and tasted more like a sweet tea, the IPA was well, lacking hops. The waiter told us the brewer had messed up the brew, but still they went ahead and called it a brewers reserve. Not worth going there again. Only highlight was he service and the cold December weather which meant no tourists. I don’t even want to imagine this place when it’s busy.“

“If you want a brewpub in the Disney area, this is about it. Unfortunately their beer is not all that good. The food and service, however, were wonderful. This is a chain-style place with no real character, and is packed unless you visit Disney off season. Located on the Boardwalk Resort area near ESPN zone, an ice cream shop, etc. This is a family place, not really a true brewpub in my opinion. After stopping hear it makes me wonder what their locations up in Tennessee are like.“

“Packed to the gills, but since I was ordering to go, was able to find a seat at the bar. I was almost able to finish my beer sampler by the time the food was ready. So the kitchen wasn’t the fastest. The cheese burger I ordered was actually quite good. The bar tender explained all about the beer and was pretty well informed. Location is nice if your already staying at the Boardwalk Inn, probably a bit annoying otherwise. The beer was decent at best.“

“I recently visited the Big River location in Orlando (lake buena vista, fl) and was very disappointed. The service was poor, starting with the hostess who seemed unhappy when we asked to be seated somewhere other than the table which was practically in the aisle, down to the waitress, who was pleasant but hamstrung by a extremely slow kitchen. The food was poor as well, my choice, a hamburger, was overcooked, well-done instead of the medium I had requested, and in fact showed and tasted of an excessive amount of charring. I actually ate the burger since, after the 35 minute wait and several assurances by the waitress that our food would be coming any minute, I was very hungry. My wife liked her meatloaf, although she thought it was a little cold; perhaps her food was plated early, while my burger was being cooked (burned)? We were also somewhat irritated to find out that the mushrooms and onions the waitress inquired if she would like, were an additional $2.00. “

“Another place at Walt Disney World to go if you are in desperate need of a decent beer and forgot to pack any in your carry-on. Food was very decent which was reflected in the pricing. The beers were better than what you would find else where but generally very boring junk. The place had character but really seemed to be in a state of disrepair (for Disney) and was not any bigger than most holes-in-the-wall.“

“Staying at a Walt Disney World resorts be prepared to encounter slim pickins in the craft brew category. But if you need to find something other than macros, Sam Adams’, or contract brewed crap - this place has a limited selection beyond others. Abita offerings and a handful of macros were on tap. Everything is overpriced. The appetizers are decent. Atmosphere is great and the restaurant next door (Boatwrights) has some great southern cuisines. Barkeeps are costumed idiots with attitudes that make you want to throw you $7.25 Abita pint back in their face. If you find yourself stranded and in need of quaffable beer, bring a wad of cash and a thick skin to this place.“
