| 68 /100 Beer & Burger Joint (Restaurant) 11025 PINES BLVD “I stopped in on a recent trip to the states. 25 taps though it is less than impressive in regards to high quality craft beer. I would have like to try some good local beer but the best had to settle for a Green Flash West Coast IPA as the taps included too many common beers. The burger was pretty good and the fries were very good. Overall, it accomplished what it needed to but wasn’t a great beer/ burger place.“ |

That said, I felt their beer selection was smaller than most of their other stores. Also, I found their layout to lack good organization and it took much longer than normal to browse their shelves. Aside from those things, the staff was helpful and there were plenty of options at a fair price.“ |

| 74 /100 The Pub - Pembroke Pines (Restaurant) 237 SW 145TH TERRACE “"The Pub" is part of a well-executed small (but growing) chain of gastropubs, made to look/feel/taste/smell like a typical English pub, complete with wooden bar, polished brass, nice draft taps, and a Union Jack painted on the ceiling. Waiters wear kilts and stockings. For S. Florida, their beer/ale offerings are VERY good, to include a rotating tap of Stone/DFH specialty ales, some U.K. ales, and an honest-to-goodness cask offering. S. Florida has been a wasteland of the Macro-brewery product lines--as a recent transplant from OH, I’m amazed at how hard it is to find a restaurant/bar down here that has more than Bud/Miller/Coors products on tap--so The Pub is a welcome change. Food is far better than the normal pub fare, and the service and management are both very friendly and welcoming. Busy place.“ |

They don’t carry a crazy ton, but I would say about over 70 beers. That’s still pretty damn good. I love the atmosphere there, however beware that it gets packed on the weekends so get there early. The waitstaff is reaaaally nice and they are somewhat knowledgable so that’s a big plus. The food is outstanding for a pub (try the fish n chips!) and I don’t know what else to say...oh, their prices are great!!! Finall Pines gets some good stuff!“ |
