“Pretty nice selection several locals, american and many foreign ones as well (picked up one from Bahamas and Jamica). Great Idea with the mixed 6 packs .... Me and the very Friendly guy created 4 new ones (ie splited 6 packs). 4 sampling on Draught for free not good when driving. Easy parking but GPS went nuts the last 500 meters - a block. Also good with the low sale of date beers. There was also some mead learking in the wine department;). And yeah right, WHO is keeping all of the americans in alfabetic order - spotlees?!“

“UPDATE: Beer is mostly usual suspects here, few seasonals or special beers. Still the occasional gem shows up, but there are only one or two team members that can talk beer or even that know about what they have ordered. Typical ABC, but this one’s in Spring Hill, so really the only competition they have is Beer Frog. Between these two places I can get MOST of what I would normally drink. Prices here are comparable, but sales do drive prices for normal drinkers like Founders and Cigar City down. Worth a stop if you’re in Spring Hill.“

“Nice place in Spring Hill; one of my weekly stops. They get new stuff in almost every week and keep the Cigar City, Founders, Great Divide, New Belgium, and local beers pretty well stocked. A few staff members have decent beer knowledge, and they have computers tied to Ratebeer on premise so customers can check reviews of any beer in the place. Nice selection of Belgians, Germans, and imports as well as American micros. Coolers have surprises from time to time and are easy to miss in the back of the store. Worth stopping if you’re not going further into Tampa than Spring Hill. By far the best beer stop in Hernando County.“

“Not a bad selection for Spring Hill, prices are pretty good too. Dogfish, some ccb, lagunitas are the highlights. Mix a six is nice but its only for a quarter of the six packs available. Downsides are lots of outdated ipas, lack of sours, saisons, berliners and some six packs are way overpriced(see gonzo). Beerfrog, Warehouse and ABC are the only places worth stopping in spring hill. I still buy most of my beer in Tampa and Dunedin due to lack of selection up here.“

“I can’t beleive a place like this is in Spring Hill. I love it, they have an awesome selection. I asked how many kinds of beers they had and the guy told me they had over 200 different breweries and 300 different kinds of beer. And the prices are great.“

Deep Blue Liquor (Beer Store)
11133 COUNTY LINE RD.
“Brand new store that just opened on County Line Road in Spring Hill. Inside is bright and airy with one side of the store devoted to wine & liquor, and one side to beer. The beer is almost entirely in the cooler, with one Unibroue and Chimay display set up on the floor. The rest is all macros. Lots of macros with small but respectable showing of crafts with Southern Tier, Blue Point, and a few Victory beers. I am interested to see this store grow.“

“Nice cozy little tavern located at the corner of Powell and Barclay. Owner is a great guy, always around making conversation. Atmosphere is welcoming. Alot of locals just hanging out having a good time and enjoying some good beer and/or wine. There is also liquor here. Good service, bartenders are attentative. Selection is great for the area. 25-30 taps. Usually a few things on to keep you busy. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in to find Pumking on tap. Once you get bored with the tap selection theres a pretty solid bottle selection and 5 12oz. micros will cost you just $15. Theres always a few good beers in bottle...usually at least some lagunitas and great divide. Value is really good. Overall...if your in the area and need a place to drink some good beer...Wine Toad is your best bet.“
