“Small corner unit cafe bar with a large front terrace area next to the level crossing for the trains running to and from Liverpool. A cask or keg ale can be found here but there's nothing particularly interesting about the selection.“

“Amongst the shops and cafés of Birkdale, this corner unit microbar has a limited selection of cask and keg available but plenty of mainly Low Countries bottles on a shelf on its side wall to takeaway or drink in as some are in fridges below. Seating is also put out front in this well-to-do suburb of Southport.“

“Visited July 21 on a warm evening and sat on one of the tables to the front. It is amongst a row of bars and restaurants stretching beyond the railway crossing from here, there is a pleasant general atmosphere to Birkdale. It is mostly a Belgian beer bar with fridges full of bottles, there are a couple of local beers on cask on the small bar at the far end of the pub. Very helpful owner willing to spend time helping with your choice. A very pleasant visit.“
