“Nice little bar 3 handpulls and 6 taps on but a big selection in the fridge well worth a visit...“

“In its own building on the cusp of the Links golf course, it's pleasant but not outstanding construction with a large ground floor area. With just a couple of regular Marston's cask beers available on my visit, its major reason for being here is its food, which was being enjoyed by many older persons on my afternoon visit. It was not that surprising though as the whole area, with the pub just a stones-throw away from the Hoylake seafront is pretty much littered with retirement homes and flats.“

“Listed as a restaurant at the time of reviewing, this is very much a pub though, that serves food. Facing north into the main road, its has a central doorway is just in front of the bar that serves six real ales, all of which were regular brews from the suppliers but did include a local one from the Wirral. The majority of the seating in this very regular but pleasant enough locals pub is at its side, as is its car park, and there's a beer garden too. It's currently painted a sea blue to compliment its name.“

“Came here on 20.6.2016. Typical CAMRA Pub with a nice green beer garden. They had 6 real ales on tap, all served at the right temperature. My favorite was a pale ale from the White Rat brewery. Fish and Chips were quite good. Service was not very attentive.“

“This is a small but impressively decorated Wetherspoon pub even though it does not depart too much from the traditional look with plenty of wooden fixtures and furnishings. It’s a pub in a converted shop unit, but the front of the building has been given a nice design includes flower beds and hanging baskets and it’s very inviting even before you step in. There’s a few tables pub out here too. It’s not a big pub for this chain but the area is not too big either making this a decent option to find rotating real ales alongside the regular drinks sold by Spoons.“
