“We (Me & Loz) have visited this place many times over the years as its about a 3 minute walk from Bobs. Nice old stone pub, on two levels, I don’t much like the layout but to be fair to the pub I don’t know that they could do much about that. You sort of enter from the side at a slightly higher level and then the bar continue down and around in a large L shape, more spacious than you might expect on first appearances. Good choice of beer and always real cider/perry available. I had Titanic Plum Porter and Tydd Steam Piston Bob on my most recent visit both in v.good nick. Friendly locals and a good atmosphere, the best pub in town.“
