“Traditional pub at Seahouses near the harbour with 10 handpulls of real ales. Cosy front bar with maritime memorabilia and lots of other rooms including dining areas. Ideal place to visit when taking a boat trip across to the Farne Isands.“

“Had planned to have dinner at the nearby Ship Inn on the basis of Ratebeer reviews. However, the Ship didn't serve food until 7pm, which was a bit late for my young daughter, so we tried this one instead which was just a few metres down the road. It turned out to be a good choice. The large. open plan bar/dining room was about half full even midweek, but we were lucky enough to get one of the many window tables overlooking the harbour (there's also a large outdoor patio overlooking the harbour, which is quite optimistic given the Northumberland climate!). The service was very friendly, chatty and efficient, and the gastropub-style food was delicious and good value. The beers consisted of 4 casks (featuring some local-ish brews), plus a keg selection featuring megabrewers' interpretations of "craft" beer and cider - possibly not quite as good a selection as over the road at The Ship, but there were several new rates for me. Overall a pleasant, friendly, comfortable pub with good food and the added bonus of harbour views.“

“cracking boozer if you aren’t offended by the plethora of maritime paraphenalia that hangs from every available space. great mix of local and visitor clientele. 10 cask beers and around the same for lager, cider etc.. very lively early doors, quieter later on. good selection of whisky too“

“Harbourside Inn really handy for the boats to The Farne Islands, a good place to wait for your time and to get your land legs back afterwards. Traditional and comfortable, the beers proved to be quite local in the guest ales, which was great. The food was hearty and tasty. A cracking place to be.“
