56 /100 Bell (Bar) 21 MARKET SQUARE Village pub just off the Oxford canal with public bar and dining areas. Small range of beers in the winter with their own branded bitter plus a guest, there is an extra hand pump in the summer period when the canal boats are around. Large garden and atmospheric location. |
58 /100 Bell (Bar) 21 MARKET SQUARE Visited here Monday 2nd May 2011, having cycled from Merton, Oxon. Nice pub, reasonable sized back garden. Beer choice a little limited but to be expected considering village location, and three or four pumps (forgot exactly how many?) isn’t bad. Blue Bell Goldigger was a new one for me. Also has a real cider, I think Lyme Bay Jack Ratt? today. Worth a stop off in the area. |
