“The better Chantry pub in my opinion, more traditional and with a much better vibe than the New York Tavern. Full range of their ales on and again quality was very good and their prices are most welcome in this day and age.“

“The lesser of the two Chantry pubs in my opinion, the place is acceptable enough but a bit flat in terms of atmosphere. They had the full range of Chantry ales on and my pints of stout were fine, a fair range of bottled beers are on display as well.“

“Free WiFi. Better exterior than the New York Chantry bar, more taps too but less bottle choice. Still very cheap at 1.25 a half pint.“

“8 taps of their own beers and 5 macro beers. And 45 or so bottled beers (Belgian American German and a couple of UK ciders. Free WiFi. Prices were 1.15' for a half pint but the prices will be going up a bit soon. It has a load of Camera awards on the wall“

“A Wetherspoons only about 10 minutes walk from the train station. Free WiFi. About 10 craft beers on tap with some macro brews too. The bottle selection is ok. Probably the best place in Rotherham“

“Very close to the train station. Free wifi. They had only 2 real ales on tap when I visited, one of their own and a guest beer. They had other macro brewed beers on tap. Prices were about 1.40 for a half pint. It's OK.“

“There are a few JDW outlets in Rotherham, and while this may be one of the smaller ones, it’s got a cracking beer selection. Alongside the normal JDW cask/craft offering there’s some Flying Dog, Anchor and Timmermans, which do crop up from time to time in the chain but are always a joy to see. Worth stopping in to refuel and try a beer or two.“

“Excellent little pub on Westgate, to the south of the town centre. It’s owned by Chantry, as is the nearby Cutler’s Arms, but the atmosphere and selection are markedly different. The decor is staid, but it’s a relaxed and friendly environment. There’s a cracking bottle selection (well-known US and Belgian names) alongside the nine cask ales. It’s an excellent little boozer, and holds pride of place in a town which has a few good ones.“

“Charming historical pub run by the Chantry brewery and featuring their beers. Quieter than it should be: even on an early Saturday evening (albeit in January) I had the side lounge to myself. The exterior and the etched windows throughout the pub are a treat, as is the decent selection of Chantry’s core range. They claim to have 23 beer taps, and although I’m not disputing this, there’s a fair bit of duplication, and the keg is mostly standard macro. It’s at least worth stepping in.“

“Busy pub with most of the Chantry beers on draught. I went on a football night so it was rammed and I didn’t get to see much of it however I did prefer the Cutlers Arms .“

“Chantry Brewery pub. Exceptional value for money, with Chantry New York Pale only £2.00 per pint. Guest beers and a decent bottled beer range, also at decent prices. However, I did find the atmosphere somewhat insular. Much prefer the Cutlers Arms across the road.“
