“The pub itself could with a little work on its exterior but Thornbridge have made a good traditional job of the interior, with plenty of seating on three sides of the central to the building bar. This is full of cask and keg from the brewer at the bar - most of which are from its extensive range of regulars - but a few specials are available. There's a 'ballroom' at the rear of the pub for various events and gigs and some outdoor seating in what is a very urbanised area.“

“Very good Thornbridge pub, just of Eccesall rd. Good range of Thornbridge beers on cask and keg plus a small bottle selection. Food is taster boards, very nice but quite pricey. Often music and comedy events in the backroom. Worth a visit. “
