| ontario102 (11), Boise, Idaho | | July 25, 2004 Overall excellant brew selection, damn good food, and one of the better spots in town | | BückDich (215), McCall, Idaho | | January 3, 2004 [ Updated June 25, 2004 ] This is a solid beerbar to go to (for Boise). They specialize in beer & wine and have around 25 taps. Most of their selection is not hard to find but is all well selected regionals from what they have available. There’s a few places that are better overall as a taphouse than this, but they’re situated in downtown Boise and where else can you get a 2001 Vintage Fish Tale Poseidon for only $12?
The atmosphere is very upscale and it’s usually 30 & 40-somethings professionals who frequent the place. The staff knows enough to bring you a snifter for your barleywine and a trappist glass for your chimay (which is on tap).
The cask is boring with only 4-5 Bitters/IPAs passing through it annually.
They have no happy hour specials. |
