This review might be a little biased since this is the first homebrew store i have been into since ’95. That being said, Stephane was excellent, I came in with my list, he had everything I needed and advice on the usage. He had all the ingrediants I needed for my first brew or at least a reasonable alternative. No hops from the UK, but he did seem to have a large selection of liquid yeast. I will be a repeat customer for the level of service alone.

Very friendly, tough to beat service. I have not visited enough to express a valid opinion about selection, but he seems to get all he can.

About 3 blocks away from Dieu du ciel, this place is my usual hookup for homebrew supplies. Stephane (I think that’s the owner’s name) is really friendly and loves to discuss recipies, give suggestions and just generally shoot the shit. One of the better selections of grain, hops and yeast in town. Has basic equipment for sale, his philosophy is very DIY, he’d rather tell you what to get at the hardware store instead of making you buy some expensive gizmo. Has little to no herbs and spices, he’ll direct you to the organic store a block away. A no frills kind of place, it’s quite dusty from the powdered grain, but don’t worry, stock turnover is pretty high so quality is always there. Prices a bit more steep than Moult International, but his hours and location are more practical. But beware, he’ll sometimes go AWOL for a bit, leaving a "Be right back" sign on the door.

An owner-operated homebrew shop on the Plateau - service is engaging and very enthusiastic. He is especially good with helping new brewers to get their first few batches under their belts. Grains are fresh and selection is very good. Fair to Very Good selection of hops and liquid yeast are always fresh and ordered every few weeks. Parking is a problem in this neighbourhood.
