I just loved this place when I visited Oslo in 2004. It’s located in a delightful shopping area/neighborhood that’s rather upscale. The beer was pleasant and should be familiar to anyone who’s spent time in US brewpubs, as the types of beers and quality are about the same. Quite enjoyable, and in a lovely neighborhood. Nice, quiet, local pub, with a quite dedicated following. Darts at the back. The beers are decent (though variable). They’ve also done a couple of very good IPAs recently. Beware of the hangovers, however, which can absolutely dreadful. | Putte (3), , Sweden

Norway’s first brewpub in modern times (est. 1989). Decent range of styles - pilsener, steam ale, bitter (not on when I was there), porter, stout, IPA.
Seasonals:
Summer: Wheat beer (Weiss), summer lager. Winter: Yule ale, Yule brew.
Reasonable beer quality, but most of them are unfortunately served far too cold. |
