Went here for the Noog fest. I actually only tried one beer, a cask conditioned IPA. The staff was nothing but friendly. Large with some nice outdoor seating. Nice location.

Excellent wait staff on this busy Saturday! The food was good and our waitress was very knowledgeable about the brews. Located in a nice section of Downtown Chattanooga with a great pedestrian feel. Close to Taco Mac and Mellow Mushroom.

The experience you get from the BRG can vary depending on the visit. Located close to the very popular Tennessee aquarium, service can be slow if they get crowded. Food is above average, but not anything you won’t find in most brewpubs. Beer is oriented for the masses, nothing over the top (it’s a member of the Gordon Biersch chain). But it’s possibly the best in town and Chattanooga’s only brewpub at this time.

nice atmosphere, good menu, however, when I was there, the service was slow.

Second time I’ve been here, and I think I enjoyed my first visit a bit more. On this occasion a cheerleading competition was in town (middle school and younger) so it was crowded and the servers were not a happy group. However, the staff did their best given the circumstances. Their beers are nothing special but they have a good selection. Their Vienna lager is ok and the brown ale and stout are also worth drinking. Nothing really stands out. Food is good (nacho’s are huge!), and the atmosphere is nice enough. Worth a visit if your in the area.

Large restaurant, upscale family brewpub/fernbar. Dim lighting. Great entrees. Beer tailored for the BMC drinkers, but I’ve had a good seasonal there once (Firecracker Ale? or something). Worth going for the food alone.

The Chattanooga crew said we should meet up here and after seeing our waitress man was i glad. A big ole 9 score to her for that tight ass of hers. Other than that this is a pretty average brewpub. Some good ambiance with mediocre lighting..very cool and not too noisy. The beer selection was weak, but its TN so what else would i expect. The food is the highlight here. Well rounded place, but nothing special!

Great brewpub located downtown. Knowledgeable staff - able to point out medals that beers have won, characteristics of the beer etc. Have about 7 or 8 on tap at any one time - all above average for a brewpub. Food has been good all three times I have been there. Very crowded - which is a good thing for business - but bad if you want to eat in a hurry! Highly recommended.

This is a brewpub located within a block of the Tennessee Aquarium. I did not see any brewing equipment displayed in sight, so I am not certain if they brew on the premises. The overall look is that of a converted brick warehouse (which I am quite sure it is), with tall metal ceilings and brick facade. The premises look well kempt and clean with two tap areas, a main restaurant area, and some pool tables. The atmosphere was very friendly for families with kids. The selection of beers was underwhelming with six year around choices (Light Lager, Vienna Style Lager, Brown Ale, Pale Ale, India Pale Ale, and Stout) and a seasonal (which currently was Irish Red). You can't get much more boring than that. In addition all brews were quite watery with the light lager at 3% ABV being the weakest, and the IPA at 4.75% ABV being the strongest. The food we ordered was a bit slow to be delivered, but the taste of the chicken flautas I ordered and the chicken salad sandwich that my wife ordered was quite good. The French fries that came with our son’s chicken tendered were just perfect. If they got a bit more adventurous in the styles and strength of their beers, I’d recommend this place wholeheartedly to anyone. Right now it’s worth a visit if going to Chattanooga, but not much more than that.

A must visit when coming to Chattanooga. Live music on weekends, pool tables, good menu selection and a resturant style atmosphere. A nice brewpub!
