For some, Pittsburgh conjures images of steel workers shaking salt on dull lagers to guzzle as quickly as they can. However, in the past decade there has been a renaissance in the city. From the business and economic point, the Third Renaissance has been focusing more on telecommunications and biotech applications. In the city limits, you'll find no more steel mills - and former mill areas are being transformed into waterfront living and commercial properties. Along with this change in economic strategy, the existing world class health care facilities and a shift in demographics has emerged a fertile breeding ground for craft brewing and fine dining.
