330ml can served in an ordinary glass. Pours a beautiful cloudy amber color forming a huge creamy and soapy beage head with huge retention and tons of soapy lacings formed and left in the glass. Nose is very flowery and fruity. Strong notes of grapefruit, pine, sweet pale malts, roasted malts, caramel and citrus zest. Slightly sweet upfront. Strong notes of grapefruit, grass, pine, sweet pale malts. Strong bitter finish. Grassy and piney hops profile. Heavy molasses body. Medium carbonation. Caramel, grapefruit and pine in the afteraste. Masterpiece IPA

Interesting but below average in enjoyment factor. Very bitter and herbal, almost like sucking on a fisherman’s friend throat lozenge. Some malty caramel but quite thin and grassy on the whole. Not unpleasant like their liquorice IPA but I wouldn’t bother with it again

0,33L can bought at the Bottle Shop HK. Appearance: Pours a hazy deep orange colour with thick soapy white head that leaves quite a lot of lacing. Aroma: Mainly tropical fruit, citrus, pine, biscuit malt and some subtle sweet honey. Some subtle grape, apricot and floral aroma as well. Taste: Similar with the aroma, with medium citrus, piney and grape-rind bitterness, and caramel, biscuit malt sweetness. Some traces of grassy and grape-like fruitiness when swallow. Palate: Oily texture with a medium body and moderate carbonation. The finish is dominated by piney and herbal bitterness. Overall: Good amount of tropical fruit hoppiness. The bitterness is not overly strong but does linger for quite some time. However, as a single hop IPA that solely aims to let Nelson Sauvin hop to shine, I was expecting some hop characters such as grape, gooseberry and grapefruit. Instead, it only has a slight presence of grape and citrus and is dominated by some herbal and piney flavours and overly strong biscuit and caramel malt, which I personally think is not the most suitable malt bill for showcasing Nelson hop. The Simcoe single hop IPA I had four months ago was a more balanced and distinctive one. I am expecting more from Mikkeller's single hop series.

puszka/kufle i widelce. miedziane, klarowne, z obfitą czapką białej piany, która ładnie zdobi szkło i pozostaje do końca picia w postaci obfitej czapki. aromat słodowy, miodowy, karmelowy, trochę zgniłych owoców, lekko stęchły, kwiatowe, winogronowe, przyprawowe, mega bogaty aromat. w smaku goryczka umiarkowana z plusem, lekko fenolowe, goryczka pozostaje na języku, nasycenie w punkt. bardzo ciekawe
