UPDATED: NOV 22, 2022 Vintage 2015. 375ml bottle. Na poczatku buchnal silny aromat octu winnego. potem maliny i poziomki. w smaku cierpkie kwasne maliny sfermentowane, spora cierpkosc, jasne, mgliste pod koniec metne do sino-sliwkowej barwy. ale taki zakwas ja lubie, zero piany i tysiac wytrawnosci, ta octowosc byla mila nie jakas nachalna. Bretty zrobily co trzeba. Paring with French cammembert. Bottle from no existing place: Piwa Eegionalne Katowice.

solidfunk (20023) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - NOV 20, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 20, 2021 Strange one since the carbonation died, and may have introduced some other infection. Has elements of good lambic framboise with rich raspberry and grapefruit, lime. Skunky pickle at the end takes away from the beer though. Bottle.

Brigadier (4930) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - APR 28, 2021
UPDATED: APR 28, 2021 375ml bottle Not all lambics age well and this may be the example. Aspects of it feel hollow as if in the six or so years it has been cellared it has lost its edge. The upshot is that compared to other breweries this one provides an accessible entry into the Belgian landscape. AROMA / APPEARANCE Musty raspberries, sour fruit jam, and dry malt haze the air. The typical vinegary bite is lacking though a funky cheese essence does rest in the background. The pour results in a hazy rusty liquid that resembles dissolved nails. FLAVOR / PALATE Raspberry jam chased by a glass of water feel a trace past their prime with a hollow core. A delayed tart aspect does surprise with its intensity before it wanes. As a fruit beer this does well but as a lambic it falls short. While I wouldn't say no to more of this I won't be actively searching for more.

PowY (4562) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - APR 1, 2021
UPDATED: APR 1, 2021 1.4.2021: 375 ml bottle at home, 6% ABV, bottled 12.2016, bought at La Mise En Biere, Lausanne. Pours a lightly hazy dark orange-golden with virtually no head. Aroma of raspberries, wood, sherry, sweet aged balsamic vinegar, some acidic funk and quiet some glue. Medium and nearly flat body with a very aggressive acidity and a light tartness. The flavor is dominated by acidic notes, sour lemon juice, sharp lactic notes, vinegar and somewhere underneath hints of unripe raspberries and hints of sherry. Finishes dry with residual notes of acidity and some wood. Overall too acidic. The acidity overpowers every other component of the beer. Aroma: 7 Appearance: 4 Taste: 6 Palate: 3 Overall: 13

UPDATED: MAR 19, 2021 This is a backlog rating from 2014 from a bottle shared by Tmoney99, from notes. When I had this beer it was average to below average for the style and not something I wanted to have again or I just didn't get back to my notes because of my technology at the time, work and/or family. Words to describe this beer are tart/sour raspberries, some citrus, acidic, oak, pretty good.
