UPDATED: DEC 28, 2022 This pale lager tastes like an IPA to me. The American dream is about thinking big like living in the big house driving the expensive car having a big boat. There is nothing big about this beer. Average at best.

UPDATED: DEC 26, 2022 Der Geruch nach Zitrusfrüchten wie Grapefruit, Limette und Orange sagen eine Bitterkeit voraus. Der feinporige Schaum ist sehr üppig und stabil. Man hat beim Einschenken Probleme sich des Schaums zu erwehren. Das kommt bestimmt daher, weil Kohlensäure zusätzlich dem Bier hinzugefügt wurde. Das Bier ist bernsteinfarben und trübe. Beim Antrunk kurz prickelnde Malz Noten, die aber sofort von den bitteren Hopfen Zugaben beim Abgang übernommen werden. Hier ist der Fruchtgeschmack aber nicht klar definierbar, es herrscht ein Wirrwarr aus Grapefruit, Orange, Zitrone und weiteren nebulösen Geschmacksrichtungen. Die Rezenz ist gut ausgeprägt, was die Süffigkeit unterstützt. Der bittere Geschmack bleibt lange am Gaumen zurück und ist nicht einfach definierbar. Insgesamt fehlt mir eine Geschmacks Ausrichtung, der Geschmack scheint beliebig zu sein. Deshalb finde ich das Bier insgesamt nicht gelungen. 10-2018

UPDATED: JAN 22, 2022 White weak head. Light amber colour. Aroma is hoppy with citrus (pineapple, tangerine, mango) notes. Flavor is hoppy too with fruity (tangerine and mango) tones, ending in a moderately fruity finish. Light bodied.

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2021 Tap at La Neta as part of the Mikkeller Beer & Food Walk. Clear light amber. Very hoppy. Honey, herbs. Good!

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2021 Smells of hops and cat piss with a hint of grapefruit. Taste is grapefruit with a crisp cereal flavour. Nice and dry with a crisp bitter finish. Honey and floral tastes in there. Very nice IPL.

UPDATED: JUL 19, 2021 Puszka. Lekko zamglone o bursztynowym kolorze. Piana biała, średnia, opada dość szybko. Słodkie cytrusy, karmel, toffi i ciastka zdecydowanie sporo nut herbacianych i może zywicznych, słodkie tropiki i brzoskwinie , ice tea, liście. Wysycenie małe, goryczka dość spora. UPDATED: JUN 8, 2021 Can from Sainsbury's, enjoyed at home. Pours a clear golden amber with a thin white head. Nose is enticing with a caramel backbone, strawberry, orange and resinous hop notes. Light-medium sweetness and bitterness, well-balanced with a nice clean dry hop finish. Refreshing light-medium body, prickly dry mouthfeel. Lovely IPL, could drink these all day.

UPDATED: FEB 19, 2021 330ml can from Sainsbury's. Orange with a fluffy white head. Citrus aroma, flavour is toffee, citrus and tea. Quite floral

UPDATED: DEC 18, 2020 Can. Poured orange golden body with scummy lace top. Aroma has toffee malts and citric and piney hops. Taste is medium to full bitter with a drying finish. I guess it was the dry mouth bitterness that put me off it. It's a double hopped lager rather than a pale ale. And it's mixture doesn't end there. It's by a Danish brewer mimicking an American style of European origin and made in Belgium. Bought in Sainsbury's Nottingham and it won't be again.

UPDATED: DEC 6, 2020 330ml can. Pours dark orange with a large head. Aroma is caramel, tea and grassy hop. Taste has caramel and tea with some muted grassy hop. Bitter finish.
