COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Midnight Oil er det første gøgebryg fra Randers Bryghus. Denne fyldige Imperial Stout er resultatet af mange gode bryggeres indsats. Der er ikke blevet sparet på gode råvarer og tid. Stouten har lagret over 3oo dage på tank, inden den er blevet tappet på flaske. Der er brugt 6 forskellige malte, lidt ristet byg, havre og Muscovado sukker til dette bryg. Centennial og Cascade humle er tilsat allerede ved mæskningen (Mash hopping), og yderligere tre portioner af Columbus, Amarillo og Cascade humle er tilsat under kogningen af urten. Brygget er absolut limited edition med kun 930 flasker. De fleste flasker drikker vi selv, og resten vil blive solgt fra bryggeriet og i få udvalgte forretninger. Gøgebryggerne oplistet på rulleteksterne i tilfældig rækkefølge var: Karl Nissen, Henrik Feldthaus, Søren Davids, Jan Kristoffersen, Lau Østergaard, Søren Hjortbøl, Uffe Lindhard, Kjeld Ørskov, Stefan Kappel

UPDATED: AUG 13, 2019 From the bottle pours very dark nice head of malt colour on the nose malt and sugar, not much really taste good classic stout slightly drying good malt coffee taste overall nice but a whopping 10%

Appearance: pours clear black with low beige soapy head and lacing. aroma/taste: caramel, chocolate, light coffee, light dark fruits, brown sugar, light grapefruit, alcohol and some tar notes. palette: strong roasted malty aroma, average carbonation, full body, notable sweetness, somewhat balanced by an average bitterness, long duration and an oily texture. Overall: nice sweet imp stout.
