UPDATED: APR 29, 2022 300ml Aladdin bottle from Japan Centre. Murky yellow colour, no head and aroma of yuzu, citric, lemony. Taste is sweet, lemon, yuzu, some citric rind, sourish, with rice, and boozy notes. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, lingering lemony finish. Quite drinkable.

UPDATED: APR 20, 2019 300 mL bottle enjoyed at Ikiiki with luttonm. Because why not. A sweet, but ridiculously smooth sake, lots of lemon citrus fruit character. Lemon, almost sour long lingering finish. Lemoncello as lutton keeps reminding me. A nice rice wine here, unique beverage for my usual taste. Very nice.

Bottled@SBWF2014. Hazy yellow colour with no head. Aroma is very strong citrus, along with some mild grains and a bit soapy notes too. Flavour is grains, rice, strong citrusy notes with a mild citrusy bitterness blending together with the slight sweetness of it.

Bottle that I took to Andy’s New Year’s Par-tay! Pours a very murky yellow. Big bright citrus on the nose, smells a bit like lemoncello and citrus yuja tea. Medium bodied, tangy and sweet, loaded with tons of lemon. Big citrus, lots of lemon oil. Feel like I could disinfect a whole house with the amount of lemony oily stuff happening here. Utterly delicious. Long lingering lemon through the finish, tangy and tart. Loved this.

300mL Bottle: Pours a cloudy yellow color with legs. The nose is very full and rich with citrus. Hints towards lime, pumello, grapefruit and orange are apparent. What doesn’t quite seem right though, is the combination of koji and ample citrus gives this a very strong Pine-Sol nose. Not everyone got it that tried it, but there was no mistaking it to me. The flavor is sweet and tart, somewhat balanced, but I just can’t get past the smell. It’s like every bathroom in Tijuana is being cleaned simultaneously in your nose. Oh, and did I mention that this has High Fructose Corn Syrup as an ingredient?
