Clear chestnut-orange colour with a thick cream-coloured head - it's a lovely looking brew. Tastes mainly of toffee, with some fruit cake and dusty walnuts. Mildly dry finish. It's a little twiggy and slimy, but quite enjoyable as a post work pub brew.
Martinsh (2802) - Crewe, Cheshire, ENGLAND - AUG 10, 2023UPDATED: AUG 10, 2023 Cask at Moon Under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours a dark copper with a medium sized foamy cream head and good lacing. Aroma has malts with some hints of spices. In the mouth it is sweet and creamy with traditional hops and hints of spices and chocolate. Not bad, but a bit mundane.
