UPDATED: NOV 25, 2023 Strong bourbon aroma with sweet fruit malts like prune and raisin Pours a dark brown with small disappearing head Sweet fruity flavor of prune, raisin with bourbon, oak vanilla undertones. Full bodied with low co2, lingering boozy finish. Very enjoyable flavorful smooth sipping beer

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2023 Bottle. A- Brown sugar, malt, toasted oak, mild bourbon. A- Brown color, opaque clear, no head. T- Molasses, oak, mild bourbon, brown sugar, leather, malt, toasted coconut. P- Full body, average texture, slightly flat carbonation, complex finish. O- A lot going on and as it should for an excellent quad. Nicely brewed. This was the 2017 vintage so about 6 years on it.

UPDATED: APR 11, 2023 Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Dark brown colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy and moderate yeasty aroma. Heavy bitter wonderful flavor. Long great complex heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate. World clas.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2022 Bold and resolute initially, then vibrant and almost flamboyantly alcoholic at the end. It's like when the lawyers get on the brandy's after a big win.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2022 Very dark red brown with a creamy white head. Aroma is toffee, caramel, slightly earthy, and slight toast. Taste is heavy sweet and light bitter.

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2021 Taste: the 2021 vintage, rich, oak wood, bourbon bite, raisins deep toasted malts, and smooth out at the end. Same with the nose. Dark cola brown hue, semi opaque, tan head, delicate lace. Full body. A refined and darker Quad.

We had this at Bavarian lodge in Lisle Illinois in July 2021 this is a very good Belgian quad we liked it a lot ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: MAY 18, 2021 330ml bottle. Pours a deep black with mild off white/brown head. Enormous nose full of rich malts, sugar, plums, spices, vanilla, and hints of alcohol heat. Medium to full body with a rich sweetness at the front which develops into roasted malts, toffee, and molasses. Sweetness near the end with luscious red fruits and spices. Little to no alcohol heat in the flavour. An amazing beer.
