PubTun33 (308) - Great Malvern, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 20, 2019UPDATED: FEB 20, 2019 On tap at Burger Anarchy restaurant in Odense, Denmark. Cold winters day. Nice beefy burger, decided to try a local beer. No point in travelling to a foreign land to try the sort of stuff I can find back in London.
Served in an shaker type branded glass. Not too sure on the serving size, I’d guess that it would be about 3/4 of a standard English pint measure. Cost 58dkk.
Quite deep colour for a lager. Deep rich amber gold. Two fingers of fluffy proud white head. Some big bubbles. The head dissipated fairly slowly.
Aroma is sweet, floral, Vienna malt. Caramel, nutty.
The taste follows, a little hoppyness, but caramel and Vienna malt dominate. Tasty, if uninspired.
Caramel, nuttiness, Vienna malt on the palate. Medium sweet. Dies quickly.
Paired nicely with the burger but forgettable. Would probably be nice and refreshing on a hot day.
