UPDATED: JAN 15, 2023 Bottled. Yellow colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is citrus, grass, some green apple skins and mild floral tones. Flavour is grainy, some bready and biscuity tones with mild grassy and herbal bitterness and a bit of lemongrassy elements in the finish.

UPDATED: DEC 21, 2022 Das Colonia von Braufactum ist auf der Flasche als Summer Ale ausgewiesen. Ich habe es auch schon als Kölsch kategorisiert gesehen. Auf jeden Fall wurde Pilsner und Caramalz verwendet sowie Saphir und Herkules Hopfen. Im Glas ist das Bier opal gelb, was gegen den Kölsch Bierstil spricht. Der Geruch ist floral, hefebetont mit leichtem Eiweiß. Beim Antrunk sehr spritzig und rezent bei leichtem aber doch würzigem Körper. Dabei bei Antrunk schon grasige Hopfenaromen. Beim Abgang kommt hier noch Zitrone hinzu. Ananas finde ich nicht. Das Glas leert sich sehr schnell. Gut gekühlt hervorragend zu trinken. Summer Ale ist auf jeden Fall richtig, vom Braustil höchstens an das Kölsch angelehnt. 12-2020

UPDATED: MAR 4, 2021 Bouteille de 33 CL achetée chez V&B. Robe dorée légèrement trouble avec une mousse blanche crémeuse. Arômes herbacés, citron et levures. Texture crémeuse, carbonatation moyenne, faible amertume et légère. Notes herbacées, citron et miel. Finale sèche.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2019 On tap at Braufactum, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma reveals gentle herbal notes and biscuity malt. Flavour is sweet and cerealy, with herbal notes, sweet cereal, and straw. Gently sweet and herbal, but pretty forgettable. Decent.

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2019 Gefunden in einem ukrainischen Supermarkt. Beim Öffnen der Flasche kommt schon ein ordentlicher Duft nach Hopfen und Zitrusfrüchten entgegen. Diese findet man in dem sehr erfrischenden Bier wieder und da sie schön miteinander harmonieren, erfreut das auch...allerdings wenn das Bier einmal zum Hals hinuntergeronnen ist, haut es eine unangenehme Bitterkeit nach, die das positive Trinkerlebnis vergällen mag. Schöne Geschichte, aber ohne Happy End.

UPDATED: AUG 12, 2019 Aroma: hints of pineapple and citrus with notes of grass Appearance: Clear, golden with white head Taste: hint of sweetness balanced by a hoppy bitterness, hint of citrus and pineapple and a slightly floral taste of fresh grass. Mouthfeel: short, semi-bitter, with a spicy dry finish. The body is fairly thin, with average carbonation. Overall an easy drinking beer, but nothing exceptional. It is solid, and worth drinking. Poured straight from the bottle into a tasting glass.

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2019 330 ml bottle. Poured golden color with white quickly disappearing foam. The aroma is heard a little grass and simple citrus. The taste of citrus sour, cereal notes, canned fruit. Bitterness grassy hop, medium, in the background of camp water tap spirit. The finish is with sweetness and not very interesting bitterness.
