330ml bottle in 2017. Black with a brown head. Aroma of burnt malt, bonfire, peat, smoked fish and wood. Really full body. Peaty, whisky flavours, with roasted malt and coffee.

UPDATED: FEB 7, 2019 (Bottle) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, black rye bread, liquorice, hint of blueberries and a slight smokiness. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, cacao, blueberries, orange peel, liquorice, black rye bread, hints of smoke and a balanced cacao bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Solid and well made porter, with a mild smoke touch. Very nice.

Aus der Flasche Salt'n Bone Berlin 2016-02 getrunken. Och nö smoked! Ich werde mit solch rauchigen Bieren einfach nicht warm. Obwohl der Böse Zwilling hier ein super balanciertes, handwerklich sehr gutes Bier hergestellt hat. Daher gebe ich dem hier ein Daumen hoch.

Uzupełnienie profilu notatki. Piana obfita drobna, zdobi szkło, dośc szybko redukuje sie do niewielkiej i tak pozostaje. Kolor czarny. Aromat ciemne słody czekolad, wędzonka dymna, ogniskowa, lekko słodki, niezbyt intensywny. Smak bogaty, gorzka czekolada, palone słody lekki kwasek od nich, kawa, wyczuwalne ale nie dominujące nuty słodu wędzonego, umiarkowana słodycz i owoce suszone, nuty przyprawowe, ostre. Alkohol ukryty, goryczka niewielka ale wyczuwalna. Smaki grają i tworzą wyśmienite piwo. Bardzo dobre.

On tap. Only a touch smoky, despite the name, and sadly overbearing on the artificial sweetness. A pretty plain porter, to be honest.

Tap (I'm not sure how fitting for stouts that is). Relatively low bod, somewhat smokey, but less than the brewdog coffee and cigarettes, a bit of hoppy tartness, low carbonation. OK

I liked this but I was surprised to see this as a top 50 smoked beer. It's certainly smoky but i.just.thought the flavor.was okay
