UPDATED: NOV 28, 2022 Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark, almost black, with with very fine white foam. Aroma is very nice, of caramel and molasses. Body is average, smooth, even oily,, with limited carbonation. Taste is intensely sweet, with a long final of molasses and caramel.

UPDATED: NOV 24, 2021 Color naranja muy oscuro, casi marrón, turbia, traslucida. Espuma beige de medio dedo de espesor y corta retención. Aroma intenso, ciruelas pasas e higos secos, maltas ligeramente caramelizadas, leve chocolate y licor. Sabor intenso, maltas caramelizadas, frutas desecadas, azúcar moreno y notas de madera, final medio de dulzor azucarado medio elevado y amargor tostado bajo, posgusto aromático, alcohol ligeramente notable. Textura acuosa y muy levemente oleosa. Carbonatación media. Strong en el extremo más dulce y menos alcohólico del estilo. Deliciosa.

UPDATED: JUL 27, 2021 On tap @Mad for Beer (Rome). Bruna, mediamente torbida, schiuma beige media. Al naso note di frutta matura, uva sultanina, fichi, leggero tostato, cioccolato. In bocca è dolce, maltata all'attacco, con chiusura amara leggera a bilanci Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Non male.

UPDATED: NOV 13, 2020 Bottle. 9.2%. Best before 03.22. Pours a hazy, dark reddish amber/light brown, with a light tan head. Decent lacing. Malty and cereal aroma, (dark) fruits, berries, a wee bit tart. Dusty/ashy overtone as it warms. Further warming brings out a light oxidized note. Flavour is dark fruits and roasted malt, with a citrus hint. Light metallic overtone. Dry finish, more dark fruits. Mild alcohol burn lingering, along with ashy, light grassy notes. Overall fairly good. 13.11.20.

UPDATED: MAR 30, 2020 Sexy beer? Smell- medium strong, caramel, malt, sweetness, nice. Foam- medium-thick, sweet, caramel, alcohol and roast, some Belgian notes. The Head is small, medium-dark brown color. Appearance- brewer bottle cap and nice bottle design, if bottle cap would be unique for beer, it would be 5 points for sure. Also the story, uh, I love this brewery and creativity they put into stories and appearance, have to add to the overall score. Taste - sweetness, caramel, malt, roast, and a lot more sweetness, some acidic and sour notes in mix mixed with alcohol, dried plums, and faint bitter notes. Very interesting and nice, the sweetness is even almost bit too much, but still nice, I like sweet beer and this is about as much as still goes into my territory.

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2019 Mørk brun/rav, en smule skum som forsvinder, let bundfald. Aroma er sødlig let belgisk gær/ale. Smagen er overdreven sød, nærmest som at drikke rent sukker opløsning, sødmen dominerer fuldstændig og kvæler den smule belgisk ale der fornemmes. Forfærdelig sød øl.

UPDATED: FEB 27, 2019 Robe brune aux reflets ambrés, fine mousse. Nez sur la prune confite, la figue, une pointe de chocolat et de malt torréfié sur un coté lactique. l'attaque de bouche est onctueuse, crémeuse, chocolatée, la bulle est ronde et fondue et la finale lactée. Une bière assez douce à siroter au coin du feu.
