BlackHaddock (15425) - The County Time Forgot, Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUL 8, 2023
UPDATED: JUL 8, 2023 Finally got round to rating this beer: 355ml bottle, bottled on 28th March 2023. Bought from Total Wine & More, Laguna Hills and drank at my daughters on 7th July 2023. Poured into a Kasteel chalice, it looked content and happy, very dark brown with a tanned, wispy head. Chocolate and coffee front, not as luscious as I'd imagined, but smooth enough I suppose. Leather and scorched liquorice, a 'Snedgers' delight (look it up)!

UPDATED: NOV 19, 2022 1 year 4 months old. Pitch black with nice creamy tan head. Aroma has lots of coffee, roast with some chocolate. Taste is full of coffee with pleasant roast, balanced sweetness and mild chocolate. Finishes dry. Smooth mouthfeel, full body, average carbonation. Still great even this is so old. For coffee lovers

huineman (1358) - Madrid, SPAIN - OCT 23, 2022
UPDATED: OCT 23, 2022 Bottle at Beers & Travels, served in a big, pre-heated snifter. A very dark, glossy, brown pour, almost black, with a tan-to-cinnamon head that lasts but a moment and leaves no trace. Aroma is intense and complex: obviously, loads of black coffee and bitter cocoa; but there's chicory, arugula, walnuts, soya sauce, Lea & Perrins... Dry onset, medium-bodied, very bitter but well balanced thanks to the expressive crispness. Dark and dry finish that lasts less than expected.

Nik925 (1054) - California, USA - AUG 7, 2022
UPDATED: AUG 7, 2022 Somehow a bit alcohol forward. There is def some coffee but the chocolate shows up strong the aftertaste. Nice but punchy burnt cacao nib aftertaste. Residual sugar pushes the nibs and coffee taste but a tiny bit cloying.
