Andrew196 (2500) - Katy, Texas, USA - JAN 1, 2021
UPDATED: JAN 1, 2021 Pours a hazed gold with a resilient, enormous meringue head. Nose is citrus, nectar, stone fruit, sweet pine. Creamy feel, light-medium carb. Fruitier than expected, heavy on the mandarin. Didn't get the ginger. Not bad.

UPDATED: MAR 26, 2019 Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker (bought before last Christmas, we didn't feel like drinking it though). Pours clear golden with a big, slowly collapsing, foamy, white head; lots of lacing. Aroma of grated ginger & pine resin, cheese, yellow apple, mango, lime juice, spring onion, unripe orange. Taste is light fruity sweet, restrained notes of unripe pear, apple, mandarin, some cheese & honey even; quickly turning medium hoppy bitter with prominent pine, bitter mango, a bit spicy (ginger, I suppose), grass bite, accents of bready malt & sourish lime. Dryish, spicy, piney hoppy finish, lingering ginger, grass, honey, orange peel. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Quite the bitter IPA, not really my style for Christmas, but okay anytime else.

jimhilt (2748) - Bow, New Hampshire, USA - JAN 28, 2019
UPDATED: JAN 28, 2019 Pours a five+ finger white head that slowly fades leaving a good lace. Hazy light amber color. Medium carbonation and medium bodied. Fruity nose and flavor is citrusy not finding ginger & pine needles, light sweetness. Pricey at $4.95 for a 330ml bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.

Arctium_lappa (149) - Bucuresti, ROMANIA - JAN 11, 2019
UPDATED: JAN 11, 2019 Slight resin & hops in the aroma over a clear golden beer. I could not swear to the pine flavour but there is certainly some sharp resinous bitter there. More cereal & citrus in the mouth with good residual bitterness. Does not feel/taste especially Christmas festive but is a good refreshing beer

Stew41 (2523) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JAN 6, 2019
UPDATED: JAN 6, 2019 Heavy going if indeed standard IPA but notwithstanding good beer. Some spice and fruitcake (or is the label playing mind games?). Danky finish that drinks very much like a double.

tape7 (573) - FINLAND - JAN 3, 2019
UPDATED: JAN 3, 2019 How: bottle Head: white, two finger Colour: deep golden Aroma: citrus fruits upfront, some resin/ pine, some caramel, ever so slight ginger. Taste: medium body, very lively carbonation, ginger, resinous hops, caramel. Bitter& resinous warming rather long aftertaste. Pine needles are a bit too difficult to find in aroma or taste, but interesting concept.
