Clear, dark red-brown with some bits. Bubblegum, pine, good balance of medium sweet and bitter. Short but pleasant bitter finish.

Draft at Ei8ht Ball from notes. Pours a dark amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have a base of toasted bready malts, crackers, caramel with hops the are grapefruit citrus, some pine needles and lightly earthy. Come off better on the nose than flavor like many of these. Flavor sees the hops a bit faded. This is a nice idea, but if we don’t get these as fresh as possible, well......

Odd smell, lots of malt. Bright floral notes, slightly sweet, pretty malty for IPA. Long bitter finish, almost too long. Decent but not remarkable. Maybe this one has been sitting the shelf for a bit too long.

33 cl bottle. Hazy red with frothy white head. Hop aroma, grass, tropical fruit. Sweet flavour with heavy bitter finish

Pours greenish golden with large ivory head. Aroma is roses, elderberry, rucola. Creamy, fresh, sheer bitter. Medium-long finish.

Probably the weirdest hop taste for a beer, pretty unique. Not the best, but not the worst. Pours amber, lots of lacing. Aroma and taste or weird hops, citrus, and a bit of spices. Was ok

Bottle from Great Grog. Clear amber body with a thick off-white head. Very low carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of bay leaf, herbs and orange. Flavour of bitter, pithy blood orange, lemon zest, herbs and caramel malt. Medium body with a frothy texture. Light fizz. A bitter hop, showcased well here, but evidence that Summit is better in a combination than on its own.

Today I learned I don’t like summit hops. Or, at least this IPA. Very bitter, malty flavour. Not much to enjoy.
