Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. Stable. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a pronounced scent of black coffee. Dark roasted malts. Espresso coffee. Salty licorice.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed and balanced by an almost matching bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a boozy streak. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry.
A potent Goliat who has not run into his David yet.
