NosirIwont (3755) - Husum, DENMARK - NOV 15, 2020
UPDATED: NOV 15, 2020 Bottle. 4.7%. Best before 16.09.21. Pours a hazy, dark amber/light brown, with a frothy, light tan head. Good lacing. Citrusy, fruity aroma. Remote sourish hint. Light malt in the background, hinting at bread and raisins as it warms. Further warming brings out a somewhat perfumy note. Flavour is fruity and citrus hoppy, with malt in the background. Malty liquorice-y finish. Mild to medium bitterness. Lingering spicy and caramel malt notes. Overall okay, if nothing special. The aroma feels somewhat unbalanced. 15.11.20.

DraftDodger (7616) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 27, 2020
UPDATED: MAR 27, 2020 Copenhagen 27/3 2020. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Drawing of cute, skeleton cat on the label. Cartoonish. Pours unclear - almost hazy - amber with a big white head. Fairly stable. Settles as 1,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing. Aroma is medium intense and dominated by sweetness but with a lighter hoppy odor of citrus and resin. Caramel, toffee, nuts. Light roast. Sharp notes of citrus and grape fruit. Cat's piss is taking it a bit too far. Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, a bit sticky, lightly tingling texture. Flavor is medium intense. Fairly strong sweetness followed by a medium strong, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light citric undercurrent. Lingers for a bit. Semi-dry finish. Good amber ale with a good balance between the sweet caramel and the more adventureous citric bitterness.
