UPDATED: FEB 10, 2020 From a 330ml bottle on 10/2/2020 (2017 vintage). Pours a deep, deep brown with a medium tan head which disappears quickly. Has a big choc, caramel malt aroma. The flavour is dominated by caramel, with good dashes of milk and dark chocolate, toffee, and a hint of licorice. Has a mild roasty bitterness at the back. The mouthfeel is rich and creamy, the carbonation softish. A really lovely impy - a beautifully balanced and delicious treat.

UPDATED: JUN 14, 2019 You take a sip, there’s a pause, then the sensation kicks in, then you finish your sip, yet the sensation continues. A good poutine is just the same, only instead of a sip, it’s a mouth fall, and rather than sensation, it’s heartburn.

Jet black with chocolate head. Aroma of burnt molasses, coffee, butterscotch, toffee and toast. Rich flavour slightly overwhelms the palate (and well it should) but is enjoyable to the last sip. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: NOV 28, 2018 Deep espresso colour. Has a thick, tan head. Aromas of coffee and dark chocolate lead you to want more. Licorice, cocoa, and dark fruit flavours are underpinned by a roasted malt finish.

UPDATED: NOV 28, 2018 On tap, dark and opaque with a lingering head. Chocolate, roast, and bitters present without floral aroma as is appropriate for the style. Quite enjoyable.

UPDATED: NOV 28, 2018 Solid no BS imperial stout. You have to commend this approach especially in the current marketplace. Would be even better if they turned it up to 11.
