UPDATED: MAR 25, 2024 Bottle 33 cl. Vintage 2021-2022. Pours a cloudy, opaque, nutty brown with a small, rough, beige head. Plenty of acetic in the nose, paired with overripe fruit and balsamico. Medium body, lowish carbonation, noble rot, woody, balsamico. Quite sour and quite complex. It's all a matter of whether you can cope with the acetone. 250324

UPDATED: FEB 24, 2023 Almost undrinkable. Zero head, very low on carbonation. Gorgeous deep red color in the glass. Aromas are pleasant enough, smelling of yoghurt, dairy, soy sauce, plum wine. Insanely tart, flavors are completely dominated by sour plum, sour cherries, sour apple. Way too tart and dry, even for me. And I enjoy a good Geuze boon once in a while! Stay away.

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2022 Das Verzet Oud bruin kommt braun ins Glas. Die grobporige, beige Krone hat mittlere Standfestigkeit. Der Geruch nach Apfelmost ist begleitet von Holz und Beeren im Hintergrund. Beim Antrunk herb und trocken im Imperial Format! Außer Apfelmost und Milchsäuren kriege ich keinen Geschmack zusammen. Dabei wird die Rezenz durch die Herbe stark gebremst. Beim Abgang dann überwältigende Milchsäure. Gut, dass mich niemand für ein Schweppes Gesicht fotografiert hat. Ich bin mir sicher, dass mit viel Übung die Aromen, die Nico gefunden hat, entdeckt werden können. Ich habe zwischen den Schlucken Wasser getrunken und bin trotzdem nicht durch die Säure durchgekommen. Für mich eindeutig zu heftig. 07-2020
