UPDATED: APR 14, 2024 Bottle at home, courtesy of Headbanger. Pours opaque jet black with a medium, creamy tan head, medium retention. Moderate rich coffee, medium roast and chocolate malt, light sherry oxidation, and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation. Unfortunately, past its prime.

RSRIZZO (2325) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - APR 3, 2021
UPDATED: APR 3, 2021 22oz bottle courtesy of Headbanger poured into a shaker. Color is black with good carbonation and a thin fizzy head. Aroma is sweet giving notes of coffee and vanilla. It has a medium body with a crisp mouth feel. Flavor is a bit like the aroma with roasted coffee and slightly sweet vanilla. In the aftertaste the flavors meld into chocolate and finishes dry. Overall this is a good coffee Porter.

Dark brown colour, small beige head. Toasted, very dark roast coffeish aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Toasted malty, very coffeish flavour. Smooth and quite simple, clear flavours.

simontomlinson (6604) - Lancashire, ENGLAND - OCT 6, 2018
Thin beige, tight bubbled head left a cover on dark brown still body. Huge bitter coffee aroma - like sticking in your head in a tin of freshly ground coffee! Medium bodied, smooth & greasy on the palate with a clean finish. Harsh bitter coffee tastes to front but this quickly followed by cream, malt & berry with a slightly tangy citrus finish.

koleminer20 (4594) - Wayne, Michigan, USA - JUN 10, 2018
22 oz bottle shared with ebone1988. The pour is a darker brown/black with a thin ring of light tan head and a couple spots of lace as it falls down to a collar. The aroma is a nice chocolate heavy maltiness with a growing coffee. The bitterness is well balanced, and there is a darker powdered cocoa. This is pretty decent. The flavor is lightly bitter, but really metallic. A light chocolate and a growing bitter coffee balance out with a touch of alcohol on the finish. The mouth feel is medium bodied and softly carbonated with a lingeringly bitter chocolate and coffee with a hint of metallic hanging on. It’s a pretty good old bottle. 7 4 6 4 14
