UPDATED: SEP 20, 2019 650ml bottle. Cloudy, chestnut colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, dark beige head. Sweet-ish, malty aroma, notes of toffee, caramel, hints of milk chocolate, nougat and treacle. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally nuttily malty, notes of toffee, nougat, hints of caramel, milk chocolate, treacle, some bitter hop with zesty hints of mandarine as counterweight; widely hidden alcohol, a minimally warming touch in the finish, though. Oily-watery texture, smooth and soft palate.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2019 650 ml bottle. Pours a clear mahogany with light head. Aromas of candi sugar, doughy malts and raisins. Flavors follow same with additional dark fruit and toffee. Quite nice. Ready to drink. 5. associate

22oz bottle thanks to Toby pours out amber topped with a sand head. Nose is nice big sweet caramel malts some floral notes and a little spice. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts spice touch and a little hop.

Piana drobniutka, opada ładnie zdobi szkło. Kolor bursztyn wpadający w czerwień lekko zmętniony. Aromat suszone owoce, słodycz, karmel. Smak wyraźna słodycz, suszone owoce, karmel, cukier kandyzowany, tak jakby było lekko słone, chmielenie na zieloną łodygową nutę. Całość mimo wysokiej słodyczy nie ciąży pije się przyjemnie, alkohol ukryty jedynie przyjemnie rozgrzewa w przełyku, goryczka wyraźna wysoka, bardzo dobry klasyczny mocarny BW.

Toffee, bread, caramel and something more in aroma. Cloudy copper brown with very small head. Super smooth, notes of caramel, bread. Awesome barley wine.

Hazy golden. Light spiced. Oily, very soft carbonation. Finishes lean lemon and a soft tea like bitterness.

Bottle at the 1st Annual Christmas at The Garvie’s tasting 2015. Pours clear amber with a thin white head. Aromas of demerara sugar, caramel, orange. Taste is sweet, but dries out on the finish.

Pours copper bronze with no head. Aroma is caramel, toffee and pine. Taste is pine, caramel and malt.
