COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask & Bottle: Unfiltered; Keg: Unpasteurised A 4.5% pale ale with spicy, grassy aromas and a taste of grapefruit and apricot. Undercurrent is part pale, part oats and part caramel barley. Her swirls of bold, bready and nutty malt whirl into a concoction of spicy, citrus, floral hops. Mystery lurks in those cascade and palisade hops. Her silky, creamy body will pull you under.

yerffoeg (944) - Dinant, BELGIUM - MAR 2, 2020
UPDATED: MAR 2, 2020 Une pale ale très agréable en bouche, un peu herbale, un peu céréale, un peu abricot. J'aime assez, et j'en reprendrais volontiers.

SilkTork (7741) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - FEB 14, 2020
UPDATED: FEB 14, 2020 Feb 2020. 330ml dark bottle part of a BeerHawk £1 a beer deal. Siren tend to do modern citric hoppy lager style beers, where the accent is on a clean neutral malt with the flavouring coming from modern hops. That's not my thing as I love the marriage of malt and yeast, and brewers who brew with adventure but also an eye on tradition and craftsmanship. Using closed fermentors and a throwaway yeast and chucking in packets of expensive hops is not my idea of craft at all. There's nothing at all interesting here, you've all had this beer hundreds of times under various names from various 'craft brewers'. It's a tropical fruit flavoured lager. Ho hum. Nothing new here, move along....

ERB92 (2184) - Røst, NORWAY - SEP 29, 2019
UPDATED: SEP 29, 2019 Aroma of fruits, citrus and hints of spices, malt and yeast. Amber with a white head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Quite sour. Medium body with soft carbonation. A our and spicy note dominates this brew, maybe off?

3.3
lkowalkowski (1496) - POLAND - SEP 5, 2019
UPDATED: SEP 5, 2019 Barwy złotej, wpadającej w pomarańcz. Piana obfita i trwała, zdobi szkło. W aromacie owoce, tropiki, cytrusy, karmel, nuty kwiatowe. W smaku dominują cytrusy, słodka nuta przeplatana z goryczką na średnim poziomie.

3.2
theprof (4272) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - AUG 23, 2019
UPDATED: AUG 23, 2019 Aroma of grassy hop and light caramel malts with some citrus notes. Pours clear pale body with thin lace. Taste is medium sweet to bitter with the latter more pronounced. Palate is thin, watery feel soft to average carbonation and a bitter finish. The undercurrent for me was a growing sense of disappointment with the siren more a warning than a lure.
