UPDATED: FEB 3, 2024 Can 440ml (BB: 21/06/2024), from the 2023 Siren Advent Calender; Ready for the 🏉. This feels the right kind of beer for it. Looks great, ultra-fine carbonation and some nice lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, peach, toffee, roasty. Tastes roasty, with biscuit, raisin, toffee, grapefruit too. Good body. Lovey stuff

UPDATED: APR 23, 2023 Cask at Waterloo Tap. Pours a clear deep amber with a tan head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma has a strong pine note with a bit of resin and woody grains backing. Flavor has a nice combination of bread and pine with a touch of resin in the finish.

Jerseyislandbeer (4843) - JERSEY - FEB 14, 2021
UPDATED: FEB 14, 2021 Old rating from 14-12-15 - 330ml bottle, pours a very dark brown colour with a beige head. Aromas of toffee & roasted malts. Tastes of roasted malts, toffee, caramel & sweet fruits leading to a mouth feel of mild hop bitterness. Overall not one I loved on my first go, but would give it a second chance.

biilz (2177) - SPAIN - AUG 17, 2020

Nos: żywiczne chmiele, cytrusy i solidna baza słodowa. Usta: delikatna goryczka, rześkość, niezłe ciało.

PubTun33 (308) - Great Malvern, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 5, 2019
UPDATED: AUG 5, 2019 330ml glass bottle from Seven Seasons in Hoxton. Served fridge cold into a pint glass. Dated as best before 19/11/2019. The beer outs a dark copper red, lots of small bubbles and an awful lot of sediment floating around. A small one and a half finger head that holds without diserpation for quite a time. The colour of the thick layer that settles on top of a pot of clotted cream, off yellow I’d say. While slight bigger bubbles hold it up from underneath the top of the head looks neat and velvety, almost like a famous brand of stout. The aroma has some hints of typical IPA fair. Grapefruit hops, some citrus, but also a nice biscuity waft. Fresh red berries and roasted malt. Some alcohol presence. Complex and alluring. The taste is just as good. It starts with that tang of bitter hop, but at a relatively mellow level. Sweet fruit, red grape, cooked cherry, and raisin. A low level of slight ashy burnt malt sits perfectly in the background as you drink. Very nice, easy drinking. The tastes linger long on the palate, especially the mix of sweet fruit and ash. They work very nicely together. Some carbonation on the tongue. A very tasty beer. I highly recommend everyone gives it a try.
