UPDATED: JAN 26, 2022 Backlog November 2017. Clear, dark amber, almost black body under a small beige head. Aroma is boozy with dark malt and soy. Taste is sweet and a bit raw with malt, chocolate, marshmallows, and alcohol. Fine body and same aftertaste. Simply a bit to alcoholic and rustic for my likings.

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2019 500ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with late awakening, small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige to tan head. Roasty and chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, some liquorice, a touch of roasted nuts, some treacle, whiffs of alcohol, minimally peaty overtones. Taste is sweet dark malty, minimally roasty, notes of treacle, malt lozenge; bitter hints of coffee in the finish, well hidden alcohol overall, a late and light touch of brandy in the finish. Viscous texture, smooth and soft, minimally sticky palate. Not overly rich nor complex, a tad too sweet - relatively easy drinkable.

Bue en bouteille de 50cl. Couleur noir. Liquoreuse. Palais ultra-sucré (trop), du coup, aucun autre goût, notamment pas de marshmallow... Très très décevante.

Bottle at Dansken, Gothenburg. Black beer with an brownish head. Roasted chocolate licorice mashmellows vanilla aroma. Similar flavour with alcohol well hidden. A nice dessert in a bottle, I really liked it.

Bottle @ Dansken during RBScSG. Pours black with a rather small mocha head that leaves some sparse trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and roasty with roasted malts, burnt caramel, vanillin, coffee, bitter chocolate and moist soil. Taste is sweet, bitter, malty and roasty. Mouthfeel is soft, round, slightly viscous, slightly roasted astringent, tiny boozy and medium to full bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with roasted malts, burnt caramel, vanillin, coffee, dark chocolate, moist soil, sweet liquorice and hints of alcohol. Solid but a bit sweet...

Bottled. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Smells and tastes salty, licorice, dark chocolade and coffee with a alcohol bitter finish.

Bottle at Dansken, Göteborg. Opaque black beer eith a nice beige/brownish head. Roasted chocolate aroma, licorice, cocoa, marshmallows, vanilla, caramel, some figs. Roasted licorice and caramel flavor, marshmallows, vanilla, raisins, soot, figs, licorice, spicy notes, cream, some raisins. Alcohol is well hidden. Very good.

Bue en bouteille de 50cl à une dégustation chez la Zaz, couleur noire, mousse marron peu d’effervescence. Nez Marshmallow café et sucre. En bouche attaque sur le sucre, la marshmallow et le grillé. Deuxièmre bouche sur le mocca et le réglisse.

Trevlig, halvvit sjunkande krona & under ligger en svart färg. Söt godis doft sv marshmallows & ton av prickikorv doft? Mmm väldigt söt god godis smak. Tycker jag förnimmer den söta kladdiga marshmallowssmaken eller är jag Psyk lurad av etiketten? Relativt fyllig ändå inte jätte tung som många imp. Stout kan bli. & ändå inte för söt trots sina 10%.
