UPDATED: DEC 3, 2023 355mL bottle, pours a clear dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma reveals herbal notes, bready malt, and vegetal notes. Flavour is very light, with vegetal notes, bready malt, and herbal notes. Too vegetal, lifeless palate. Useless.

UPDATED: MAY 2, 2023 Bottle thanks to JerseyIslandBeer. Appearance - copper with a thin beige head. Nose - brown bread and treacle. Taste - bread, toffee and treacle. Palate - medium bodied and lightly roasty. Overall - decent.

UPDATED: APR 11, 2023 330ml bottle, gift from my brother in law. Pours a clear red with a tiny white head. Aromas & tastes of red fruits, caramel & toasted malt. Moderate body. Sweet malty finish. Enjoyable

UPDATED: MAR 20, 2021 Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is light brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits, malt, little nuts and hops. Sweet finish.

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2019 Pours an amber-chestnut brown color with thick off-white head. Light brown toasted malt taste. Nutty sweet toasted malt aroma. Better than expected; thin but nice malt tones.

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2018 Brought back from Mexico by a friend who knows my appreciation of different beers, I am trying my first 12 oz bottle. I mostly prefer to drink Mexican beers in the bottle and that is happening now too. I do have to point out how attractive the bottle is, all gold foil and the red poinsettias on the labels. I take a whiff, sort of toasty and malty. The taste follows, grain, a light maltiness, water and a bit of sweetness. I insert a wedge of lime and now it is only better. Noche Buena lines up with Negra Modelo and to a lesser degree, Dos Equis Amber. Really decent.
