UPDATED: JUN 28, 2022 From the Bottle 14/08/2014 Big hop aroma. Small white head. Golden coloured slightly hazy in appearance hoppy and fruity with pineapple and citrus flavours. A hint of dryness in a bitter lasting malt finish.

UPDATED: NOV 16, 2020 This beer is very bitter, with heavy hop aroma and palate of sweetness, you have to drink it slowly; because of the prior taste of bitterness there is nothing left for the feeling of sugar turning into sour. With smokey orange color, this is a great brew.

coasternut (1894) - VANCOUVER, Washington, USA - AUG 9, 2020
UPDATED: AUG 5, 2023 Had in 2020, August 4th to be exact. This beer is very hoppy with a slightly sweet bitterness. Citrus and fruity flavors from the hops. It has a good solid malt backbone and a balanced flavor profile. For an IIPA the ABV is a little on the low side, but HEY! if the taste is great go with it.

WortStein17 (93) - Alberta, CANADA - MAR 23, 2020
UPDATED: MAR 23, 2020 Hazy appearance with an almost muddy amber/ brown color to it, pours with a half finger worth of anemic looking head that has poor retention to it and leaves watery lacing that runs down the side of the glass. Nice aroma to it, a bit more ale character then most IPA's with a good amount of caramel malt to it, as well as some fruity hop notes of apricot, citrus and melon. Good amount of fruity hop flavors forward, mildly bitter with a nicely balanced blend of apricot, grapefruit and marmalade flavors to it. Smooth bodied malt base with a good amount of sweetness to it's dark amber caramel flavor, some hints of toasted biscuits with a faint coffee bitterness and ghostly hints of amaretto towards the back end. Finish is a bit more of the IPA expected with a bitter, pithy orange flavor that has a faintly astringent, medicinal hint to it that lingers on the aftertaste. Medium bodied with a fairly below average amount of carbonation to it keeps if from really feeling “bright” but it is well balanced with a fruity, caramel ale sweetness forward and a moderately bitter IPA finish to it.

Jabah (2555) - Fairfax, Virginia, USA - APR 4, 2019
UPDATED: APR 4, 2019 This is a solid clean IPA. Not super strong on the hops/IBU, but more of the sweeter kind. I'd say closer to a Northwest IPA vs. the citrus of the West Coast and tropical IPAs down south. Worth the try....kind of pricey though.

labeerinthum (7895) - Milano, ITALY - FEB 14, 2019
UPDATED: FEB 14, 2019 Bottiglia.

2ème avec cuir tanné, after eight. (2/1/1/1/1)
