caribou43 (3069) - SWITZERLAND - SEP 5, 2019UPDATED: SEP 5, 2019 I have tasted this beer with Raoul, at the bar 'de l'autre côtê', at Lausanne, during the last winter. A pity that they produce this beer, in Belgium, why to call that a so-called Danish brewery. Even though, it is a solid pale ale that it sounds more an IPA, the body is brown/orange and troubled, regular carbonation, thin and white foam. The taste is fairly bitter, perfectly citrus, hop, dry malt, aromatic, good sensation at the mouth.

BenL8 (1832) - NETHERLANDS - MAR 8, 2019UPDATED: MAR 8, 2019 Growler. A really nicely balanced pale ale with strong pine needle notes. I don't really taste the addition of orange peel, but there is a nice orange/grapefruit fruitiness. The hops really blend well with the pine needles to create a medical bodied beer with a nice malt backbone and good hoppiness without too much bitterness. I really enjoyed this one; not your typical pale ale, but that's what made it stand out for me. Love the forest feeling the pine needles give. Very drinkable too! Nicely done.
