UPDATED: APR 2, 2024 Imperial Stout brewed with coffee and cacao beans. Coffee is the king of its aroma, really powerful. Dark chocolate, roasted grain and Maillard products find the way out of the coffee slowly. Black pour, creamy tan head with high retention and coating laces. Bitter, but with some moderate sweetness, a lot of coffee, dark and just brewed, dark chocolate (like a 90% bar), roasty notes with some herbaceous hops. Full body, moderate carbonation, alcohol not evident. A classic brew, where coffee wins over chocolate, which mostly rounds up the flavours. Always good.

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2023 330 ml bottle. Pours black with moderate creamy tan head. Aromas of black coffee, dark chocolate and roasted malts. Flavors of espresso, dry black chocolate, rye bread and dry roasted malts. Really nice for the ABV.

A black beer with a brown ring on top ; medium beige head ; medium retention. Great name too, spaghetti western, I like it. Great good coffee++, roast, chocolate. Medium dry bitter, light refreshing, warming atmosphere, light sweet background. Good body feeling, average thin texture, soft gaseous to flat, coffee bitter light round gourmet finish. Overall, delicious !

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2022 Donkerbruin tot zwart bier met mooie bruine schuimkraag die helaas snel wegzakt. Smaak is bitter en licht zoet met iets van koffie, noten, wat rooksmaak en bittere chocolade. Heel goed.

UPDATED: FEB 9, 2022 Bottle picked up in Naples. Jet black with a large tan head. Aroma of coffee and vanilla. Flavour is dark chocolate coffee, dry malt. Spicy bitter chocolate finish.

UPDATED: OCT 16, 2021 On tap at Ballarak Magione Palermo. Once more a beer I really like that I haven't had in quite a long time. Pours black with a small slightly tan head. Aroma is dark malts, rich medium to dark roast coffee and cacao. Light vanilla. Flavours is dark malts, lots of espresso, light to medium bitterness. Cacao, vanilla are quite apparent too, but coffee is dominant. A beautiful imperial stout if one likes espresso.
