30.04.2014, tap @ Mikkeller & Friends:
Nice brown creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly neutral, dark malts, sour-ish coffee, alcohol, oak, grass, caramel, chocolate. Taste is very sweet, slightly sour-ish and harsh, dark sugar, oak, grass, dark malts, alcohol, citrus peel. Longlasting bitterness, dry harsh mouthfeel. Not really my cup of tea!

ciocanelu (4480) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - JUN 14, 2017
On tap at Mikkeller and Friends. Aroma has dark, roasted malts, astringent roastiness, even some tart notes. Taste has sweet malt, some astringent dark fruit notes and roasty bitterness. Boozy and difficult to drink.

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2017 On tap at Mikkeller & Friends. Pitch black with a tan head. Notes of roasted malts, alcohol, roasted malts, cocoa, some kind of barrel. Too alcoholic by far.

jmgreenuk (19374) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - MAY 9, 2017
Tap at Mikkeller and Friends, Copenhagen. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy tan head. The aroma is big roasty malt, liqourice, alcohol, molasses. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich oily burning alcoholic liqourice bitter palate. Full bodied with flat carbonation. Nice to taste but way too alcoholic to drink.

Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer. Potęga, niesamowity aromat i smak skórek pomarańczowych zalanych likierem czekoladowym. No i samego Grand M. również :) Genialnie ukryte alko.

Pinball (14759) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 28, 2016
Best black i 4h7nk so far. Gm sweetness makes black sweetness much more refined. Charred wood add much needed roastiness and in the end black is beautiful.

neepsntatties (2471) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 10, 2016
On tap at the Fort George 2016 Dark Arts fest. Colour...jet black with a thin tan head. Nose...opulent with orange zest, dark chocolate and oaky, boozy goodness. Palate...massively cloying and broad in the beam! This is one big stout! The sugary aspect is the main actor on this stage but luckily the bitterness of the orange and the tannic quality of the oak helps ease the sweetness at least a bit. The finish is very long, very sweet and punctuated with spritely zaps of citric flavours.

Alphadelic (2293) - Portland, Oregon, USA - FEB 21, 2016
On tap at the Festival of the Dark Arts - Very hot in he mouth but quite smooth bodied. it has a nice orange sweetness to it but a terribly long burn at the finish.

Prufrockstar (2132) - Moscow, Idaho, USA - FEB 13, 2016
Draft at Fort George Fest of Dark Arts. Thick dense black with brown head. Intense roast chocolate and booze; no idea what grand marnier is, but this doesn’t seem like 21% abv. At first. After an ounce the big roasty bitterness and booze amplify in a vicious positive feedback loop, and I’m happen when the 4oz sample is done.

edit: damnit, this was Imperial stout #200 for me? If I was paying attention I would have chosen something better. Or at least entered a better rating. Now I have to drink another 100 imperial stouts to do this properly? Don’t know if I have it in me.

Plovmand (12135) - Grindsted, DENMARK - NOV 20, 2015
On tap. It pours opaque black with a creamy dense brown head. The aroma is heavy roast, sweetness, oak, chocolate and tar. Heavy sweet roasted flavor. Some oranges from the grand mariner. The roast just sticks to your throat for minutes. Thick oily texture. Quite awesome and very extreme.
