UPDATED: NOV 12, 2023 Bottle at home from J and B Craft Drinks, Amsterdam, 12th November 23. This was part of a huge haul, last week. Pours a deep golden and off clear, large and firm head, aroma is very resinous, pine, citrus and aromatic, light burnt malts and sugars, taste is pine, resinous, with buttery malts interwoven, some assertive malt backbone and a good level of citrus and hop bitterness. It’s very classical and very well made and balanced, good DIPA

UPDATED: JUL 18, 2023 On tap at The Beer Cellar-Glen Ellyn, IL. as the final serving from the well touted keg, so a small snifter full might not have been the best vehicle. Showed a light orangey/gold color, with some bubbly, white froth, and light dots of lacing. The nose was modest dankness and pine, with dried fruit, citrus, pit variety, and a wisp of vegetal scent. Medium bodied, the taste was a somewhat similar impression, with okay carbonation, and citrus, rind, and a bit of earthiness to the bitterness. Full credit was not given to the combo of some of my favorite hops, so a larger serving in the near future is a definite.
