Bottled. A dark brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, roasted malt, and prunes, leading to a bitter finish.

Pours orangish with a fairly dense off white head. Nose has pine, some grapefruit. Taste is medium bitter, pine, resin and stone fruit. A bit boring.

Tap @ basement beer bar. Aroma of flowery hops and some malt. Clear amber with small white head, vir. none lasting. Moderate bitterness, dry, light sweetness. Medium body, oily smooth texture, average carbonation, bitter finish.

On tap at Basement Beer Bar. A hazy dark golden to amber colored beer with a small, dense white head. The aroma is rather weak, with some caramel notes, a touch of citrus peel and some pine cones. It’s full bodied, a bit heavy on the carbonation and it feels lightly warming. The flavor is mostly on the bitter side, with some malty caramel in the back. Citrus peel and some tropical fruits. Lasting finish. Rather boring this one, but sure drinkable. 150401
